So, it’s not pulling, the steering wheel just needs to be centered. Tell them that next time you take it in. Pulling means that the truck will drift one direction or the other when you let go of the steering wheel, it’s not doing that. So the alignment is good, tech just didn’t have the...
Just going to 37” tires won’t affect anything other than speedometer accuracy, as long as you stay with stock offset wheels. Ford won’t void your warranty or extended warranty for that. The dealer may give you some trouble if they aren’t your selling dealer, but if they do, you can contact...
If the modification is the cause of the failure then the warranty claim would likely be denied, as it should be. The manufacturer can’t be expected to cover damage caused by modifications, they didn’t sell it that way, they didn’t engineer it that way.
The example I saw frequently was...
Looks like the grill is messed up too, how much pressure was being used. High enough pressure held close enough can actually cut the plastic substrate, it can also blow off good solid paint….
Changing tire size has absolutely no effect on CV joint boots. Warranty will NOT be denied by Ford for modifications unless there is a solid cause/effect established between the modifications and the failed part. And Ford will normally give the benefit of the doubt to the customer. If the...
Flip, it was refreshing to read your post. I was a Ford FSE/Trainer up until I retired 7 years ago, and these chemical-Snake-Oil-solve-everything products are not only unnecessary, but can be harmful. The companies that pedal the stuff make a ton of money, dealers make money, and in some...
I agree, but if you changed direction towards parked cars, it might have seen them and alerted. The sensor points straight forward, and if straight forward has an obstruction in the way that is too close you’ll get the warning.
You know, after seeing the cluster in a Raptor, it kinda ruined me for the cluster in my Badlands. That’s really the only thing I can say I don’t like about the Badlands so far. The cluster is pretty weak.
The system only knows that you are closing on an object. It happens often when you come up behind a car that is turning right, you know the car is turning but collision avoidance doesn’t know, it just knows you are closing too fast.
I’ve had PDR done on several vehicles, a couple of the dents were pretty severe. Never had any concerns with paint or anything else. Unless the dents are really severe, don’t let that keep you from your Bronco.
If there is no refinishing involved the dealer doesn’t have to report to anyone. 30 dings should be around 400 to 500 $, there’s no need for any reporting. And a good PDR tech will get it to the point you won’t be able to see where the dents were, even if you know where they were.
Only the smallest front diff has an axle disconnect. The larger axle is live, no locking hubs and no disconnect. Auto 4 Wheel Drive can be turned on at any time on any Bronco equipped with it, set it and forget it. I wouldn’t run with it on all the time, but doing so won’t hurt anything...
PD Evans-
Thanks for the reply. I skimmed over the entire thread but missed the reference to 2023 models. I got concerned about wiring changes for late build 2023s when I saw in the wiring diagrams that the rear fog light wiring was eliminated on late 2023s. I have all the parts on order to...
