How many miles you have on the exhaust at this point?

I chatted with Injen and Mishimoto support this week. I Jen is hoping to release permanent fix for their CAI to work with 23 models very soon...potentially before end of year. They then plan to get a 24 in and test but that may end up being late Q1 so Injen may not be ready for 24MY until Q2...

@Gtrekker Are you happy with the Mishimoto CAI? It looks like it is one of only a few intakes that does replace the tube all the way to the passenger turbo (gets rid of that odd restricted factory bend). Can you confirm?

What model year? I like the Injen but Injen is telling me to wait before installing on anything other than 21 or 22. Mine is 24 and hoping it arrives by end of February (build scheduled in January). Hoping Injen gets it worked out by then.

@Sara/AWE Can I safely run the bash tip all the time? I dont like the single tip side exit and dont really want dual tips because I dont want it too loud.

Absolutely true. I was going to get a K&N until I read some threads on here about a plastic elbow that was breaking for some.

Are rear flaps necessary or am I OK just getting fronts if I buy from Ford?

That's great to hear! It will tone down a bit as it breaks-in also so the fact that you already like it is a good sign.

Are their Ford Gatorback front mudflaps that work with factory tube steps on Heritage edition? I'm looking at accessories.ford.com and seems like they all say not compatible with steps.
