  1. My First Edition Bronco Finally Arrived....DAMAGED! 😤

No this doesn't help but I thought the conversation between you and the dealer probably went something like this.
  2. A point of contact for SoCal buyers - Kearny Mesa Ford

Something is different at Ford. They actually appear to be staying on schedule. I have a Oct 25 build date so I checked for a Window Sticker today and it's there. Other October 25 people, what's your Blend Date and scheduled order? This stuff (underlined in red) at the top of your widow...
  3. Your Exclusive Invite to Drive a Ford Bronco

I think it is the current "Hang in there" hammock give away. Just a really cool one.
  4. What's the practice on tipping Off-Roadeo guides?

  5. Your Exclusive Invite to Drive a Ford Bronco

Anyone else get one of these e-mails? Has anyone already done this? With its incredible toughness and durability, the all-new Bronco was built to carry outdoor enthusiasts to wherever the wilderness calls. And the wilderness is calling you. While you wait for your new Bronco to...
  6. Anyone considering the new Hot Pepper Red?

It was definitely more red than orange. When I looked at it I did not think orange at all. It was in the bright San Diego sun. I posted the picture of the jerry cans as I think it accurately shows the comparison between the colors. In that photo, look at the tops of the cans as the sides...
  7. Anyone considering the new Hot Pepper Red?

My kid ordered his Maverick in Hot Pepper Red. Our Mustang is Rapid Red. Our Bronco will be Race Red. Part of our driveway will look like this. I saw the Hot Pepper Red in person on a Ranger and thought it looked great. The other part of the driveway is Area 51 and Velocity Blue. Tue bad...
  8. Is any company working on roof rack systems?

Somewhere on here is a thread with the part numbers and prices. i recall the price comes out to around $1,800 for the factory rack when it does not come with the Bronco from the factory. I asked my dealer today and he said that he has not heard anything different on how it will be made...
  9. Twas the Night Before Build & Price and All Through the Forum...

Ford is certain it's not going to crash. Positive! They're just going to redirect people here More Options
  10. A point of contact for SoCal buyers - Kearny Mesa Ford

Good and bummer. Good, keep them protected. Bummer, as I'll be driving by you twice tomorrow. It's not every day I get down to San Diego.
  11. Who did this on the production line?

Maybe Amazon delivered that part and put their logo on it.
  12. Washout Floors - a Closer Look

This. What is in the Bronco appears to be the same system Ford has used for many years with good results and they just added plugs. I think the plugs and drains are a great add. My old Explorer Sport Trac had the kind of mat the Bronco comes with. It was easy to clean up mud and grease. The...
  13. badlands standard 33s? Too thin for the beach?

285s are plenty wide for sand. If they don't work for you with all the driving aids it will be because of driving style. Sure big and wide floatation tires are fun. They're just rarely necessary.
  14. Jumping Ship? - What's Your Plan B Vehicle Purchase?

Picked up a different red pony. Now that we've had it a couple of months we might just keep it. 28MPG on road trips with the cruse set at 80 is just plain nice. It's also different enough and fun enough that having a Bronco and a Mustang would still make sense.
  15. Is there any guarantee Ford will even consider 2020 reservations in MY23?

Reserve another someplace else? Pick a dealer with a better chance of scoring a Bronco for you due to allocation and see what comes first.
  16. My Bronco arrived at the dealership.... but delivery hold due to airbag recall

"DO NOT DEMONSTRATE OR DELIVER" Nothing here says the dealer can't put it out on the lot and have it poked and prodded for the next few months. At least on dirt mountain it was away from the public. Where it spends it's next few months in purgatory would be my concern.
  17. A point of contact for SoCal buyers - Kearny Mesa Ford

You learn something every day. I always thought of that as a yard for receiving imports to put on trains to send to the rest of the country. It's logical to send full trains there to unload too.
  18. When will B&P for MY22 go live?

It will be a stillbirth when it does happen.
