Ok thats like 1 in a million right? Youre far more likely to get hit following someone than crossing paths. Regardless, theyre not paying for your windsield. You do like everyone else, cuss, suck it up and move on. Its not the end of the world.
Here's why I'm on roll about this: Someone will...
Well...I'm gonna say this. Insurance is a SCAM! Unless you have a police report, video ect? Youre not gonna get a company to pay for it. Perhaps in N. Carolina maybe? Thats not every state and ummm the internet.... cant always believe everything you read right? Law is not Law. I go to one state...
I'm glad you brought this up! Oncoming traffic? NO way. rocks are thrown backwards from tires. Its law of motion. Question: Whenever you get a chipped windshield from another vehicle and I KNOW youve gotten one, did they pay for the replacement or the repair 100% of the time EVERYTIME? I'm gonna...
Sure a tire can
Oh....say no more!
fairy tale? I want to see you come to Louisiana and try to get a claim for a cracked windshield from a rock by an opposing vehicle. theyll laugh all the way home while YOUR insurance picks up the tab that Youre paying for..
Angry Im not angry. Guy who told...
No fact of the matter is youre a tool if youre following to close to ANY vehicle and get his with a rock. THAT IS A FACT! Right? Regardless of whether or not a piece of plastic is there to protect another vehicle (like as if that actually helps) but if it makes you feel warm and fuzzy. Common...
Whos they? California, Washington, Oregon, Colorado? New York? I assure you, you drive a vehicle with fenders cut to fit 44" tires without flares in Louisiana? Nothing would be done to you. Just as 78mph in a 70mph speed limit, I guarantee you, youll NEVER receive a ticket for that speed unless...
So a rock hits your windshield from a vehicle in front of you; hows that common courtesy that the vehicle in front has fenders or not? Common SENSE is more appropriate here. Ever saw a dump truck or 18 wheeler with a sticker on the dump, or trailer stating stay back? Theyre NOT responsible for...
No, youre right its not bolt on. Because its not a mirror image part. So it's a trial and error until you get it perfect. Once perfect? Make a mold of that? And you can literally make 100s of the same part without issue ;)
Curious why? If you molded an actual fender or quarter panel, fit should be perfect if youre molding the bolt holes as well. Considering its new models and not molding off a new and installing on something 3 yrs old. Because even metal wont fit right as tooling wears. But adjustment shouldnt be...
Actually its not THAT difficult. Steel? Most Defintiely! Metal panels, no youll never get it right other than to buy Ford. But carbon fiber/ fiberglass? Take a bit of plaster of paris or epoxy to create the molds, but if youre creating it business purpose? Youll get your money back if you do...
A51 is the color I like but i'll see how AMB will be. Also, I wont be buying a MY21 but a 22 so New colors equal probably better waiting. Hoping they introduce a more "bluish" color other than whats listed. An actual navy would be nice rather than black with a shade of blue lol
Exactly. I'd imagine a square fender well kit would cost $2k. Remember, its not JUST the fenders, but paint to match ect. So youll pay a premium to mod it. That, or the el cheapo-depot 0oens youll buy wont fit right. Pick your poison. Factory settings are best imo.
