  2. Finally after two years as a 6th hour reservation holder!!

Yippee Ki Yea Still wanting on mine
  3. DUCKed by a Jeep owner

We always enjoy getting ducked in our Jeep and ducking other Jeeps One day our Bronco may (or may not) show up. Seems a lot of folks on this forum are against being ducked.

    Colorado Bronco Club

Probably a late reply but Imogene is not that difficult. We run it every year. Did it first with a stock FJ Cruiser and since have switched to a Rubicon while waiting on the (never to arrive) Bronco Raptor. Just a typical butt-puckerer in a couple of places. But last I knew there was a...
  5. Help planning trip.

You can spend a few days in the Ouray area running trails. Ridgway State park is good for camping. KOA in Ouray. The Amphitheater that borders Ouray has primitive campsites. You will need to reserve now for any of those. We have a second home there and still haven't ran all the trails...
  6. LOD OFFROAD! Destroyer Tire Carrier

I also have the jeep version and had no issue mounting a rear camera however my camera is an aftermarket one. Great bumper IMHO
  7. Bronco Coming Down Imogene Pass, Colorado!

Zoned residential so have to rent a minimum of 30 days. So 4k/month or so during summer. There are areas that allow short term rental that can rent by the week. We used to stay in the state park in Ridgway in a tent and then upgraded to a pop up years ago. before we decided to buy a place...
  8. Bronco Coming Down Imogene Pass, Colorado!

As said uphill usually has right of way. However if there is a group running together then it is easier for a smaller group or a single vehicle to find a place to pull over and let the group go by. For those in groups - don't just wave but indicate how many are in the group behind you so the...
  9. ⏳ Bronco Raptor now being scheduled for production & VIN assigned

I use the back door to check on mine and there has been no changes for a long time. Shows accepted by dealer. I see people posting about chatting with Ford performance. Is there a link for that? Dealer is clueless.
  10. Dealer claimed I didn't have a Vin a full month after I was assigned a VIN#

For us the dealer seems to be the last that knows anything
  11. Bronco Coming Down Imogene Pass, Colorado!

We own a second home in Ouray and run the trails there every year. Unfortunately we are still waiting on our Bronco Raptor and get by with our Rubicon. Imogene is one of my favorite trails. Ophir not so much. Already been a few people killed in wrecks this year. The 3 I know about were in...
  12. Dealer called and offered me a Bronco Raptor at MSRP, too good to be true?

Dang, I got the golden ticket and the back door for mine still just shows accepted by dealer.
  13. Rear Too Stiff

From reading the title of this thread I thought it was supposed to be in an off topic thread. Rear ends tend to get softer with age.
  14. Fully loaded Wildtrak orders

Reserved 7/14/2020 - loaded lux, mic, etc. never came close to being built. Raised hand for GT Bronco Raptor and now stuck in that queue
  15. Guess the badlands isn't as weather rated as I hoped.

All it takes is some water in the wrong place to make things go nuts. After a heavy rain I could go outside to my 2000 Ford F350 and it would be all goobered up. No key in the ignition and the radio would be on, the AC/heater fan would be blowing, a window rolled down (left up), etc and if...
  16. Do we gotta do the jeep thing?

As a jeep owner more than once - wave, duck whatever. When I had my 60 Ford 150 and then my 67 IH Scout I returned thumbs up and turned down offers to sell as no one else I passed had either one. During our FJ Cruiser days no one waved very much unless they were modded or at the FJ summit...
  17. Screwed over by Chula Vista Ford

The dealer in Trinidad we towed it to could not find a cause. They suspected loss of oil pressure but could not determine why. They found an engine from a wrecked FJ to replace mine and it lasted another 50k miles or so before another issue where apparently water/antifreeze was getting into...
  18. Should I buy?

And then they can drive pert near anything in the future if they learn on a manual. All my daughters first cars/trucks were manual.
