I hope that everyone who is chirping online about a MT buys one. Tweeting at Mike is free, let's see the reservation dollars.
Ford is a for profit company that has spent a ton of money and time market researching this. The reality is if people were actually going to buy a MT they'd make it...
@Kingdre87 I don't think there is any doubt that the two door looks better. The thing is a beast! If I could I'd do a 2-door in cyber orange with as much offroading stuff as I could tack on. Unfortunately I will need the practicality of the four door as I plan to have this car for 10+ years and...
USMC_n_philly I 100% agree with you. I want the high (and maybe lux depending on price) package, but I'd also prefer the Marine seating and the floor with the drains on it. If I have to choose I will probably go with the nicer interior / better packages with the outer banks but I don't want to...
I also want to know if there will be a white top because I want to do the same color scheme as you. I love cactus with white. The question I really want to know is when will the online configurator go live as I can't wait to play it.
Bad news but it's been pretty widely reported that the two...
@tgunn_ocs just from talking with them online it's so clear that Ganley is a POS dealership and Klaben seems really good. I'll probably swing into Klaben here in a week or so to test drive a Ranger as I hear it drives similarly to how the Bronco will drive.
Update: I talked to Ganley and they are not honoring X-Plan and it sounds like they are marking it up. I talked to Klaben in Kent and they aren't marking it up and are honoring X-Plan.
Personally I would rather support local businesses, have easy recourse if there is an issue, and avoid a...
Clevelander here! I'm leaning towards 4 door OBX but am waiting for the builder to go online. Maybe a group of us could head up to Silver Lake in Michigan sometime.
I agree. It never hurts to have a bit of extra power especially when it comes to hills etc. I would love if it clocked in at 4k lbs with the v6 engine. I'm just not willing to compromise the off road capability for the extra towing that stiffer springs etc offer.
What is surprising for me in all of this discussion of 2 door v. 4 door is the lack of emphasis on the fact the 4 door can carry its own doors in the back. This is a huge consideration for me and definitely makes the choice easy.
