The whole "loud" thing puzzles me. Why is it so important to "go loud"? Having been around loud stuff all my life (and now slowly losing my hearing and slowly going deaf) I look back and wish I had taken hearing protection more seriously.
When inside and firing the main gun of a tank it's not...
Have a set on mine and love it even though I rarely take the top off. As @Area51BS notes it protects the paint.
While I really like IAG products, I came across this on Amazon first and due to the price (currently under $20) went for it before looking anywhere else.
Any one know if this TrailDeck will work with the Mabett tailgate foldable table?
Just eyeballing videos and pix it looks like it might, but I'd rather be sure before ordering (since I already have the Mabett installed and really like it).
Happy New Year 2026! Guten Rutsch ins neue Jahr 2026...
Yup, the M151 series was a nice improvement. Many miles racked up in one (a M151A2). Would go anywhere and you could pretty much beat it to near death. Loved it!
This happens on all four of my recent Fords (regardless of whether it is a keyless fob or keyed fob). All I do is press the fob's "lock" button and then the "unlock" button. Has worked every time; back in action. Have no idea what's going on, but for me the fix is simple. Annoying, but simple.
Great video. Settled a question I've been mulling over these past 6 mos. BL, just bought a Banks PM. Had been leaning that way, but the vid pushed me over the line.
I recently read (sorry, can't remember where) that a block heater helps with engine wear b/c your block is already x degrees warmer with the heater than starting from scratch. So one doesn't necessarily need to live in a cold place for this to be helpful (of what I read is correct).
If you have a headliner in your current one, make sure the dealership orders a new headliner. It doesn't come with the replacement MIC top and you don't take the current headliner out and put it in the new MIC top.
Was literally just about to post this exact question as I just installed my rack the other day. The wind noise is awful and I, too, have no idea what to do with that rubber piece.
Love the rack, hate the wind noise. If the rubber piece doesn't work I'll be looking for a fairing to add on (which...
Just had mine finally replaced. Let's see how well it holds up. Not holding my breath.
On the plus side, new MIC top looked good and the dealership did a great job installing head liner, windows, etc. Too bad it had such a piece of junk to work with.
(C'mon, Ford. This MIC top has been an...
Not one hour. Given that the instructions don't match up with the bolts provided (no M8/20s; just M8/16s and M8/25s), there was quite a bit of redo involved. More like 3 hours. Online instructions are not all that clear. Can be done with one person, but two are better for lifting and setting on...
I would be intrigued if the price wasn't so high (for me, anyway. YMMV).
But even if I could afford it I wonder how the Optima battery's BMS plays with Ford's vehicle BMS.... 🤔 I foresee problems....
The last bit of news I got from Mike is the Bronco 10R60 edition isn't as straightforward as the Ranger 10R80 so it's taking a bit longer than he hoped it would. I have no doubt it will be every bit as good as the one I have on my Ranger. (I think his third project will be for the F-150.)...
I thought it was one of those rare Ford Easter Eggs where instead of imprinting something on the lights or frame they give you an actual item.
So sad that I was wrong. Was planning to go thru my Bronco this afternoon in the hope that I got one too! That I have one and that it is just a clip...
