Brad,
Fantastic close-up of the metallic CO tri coat within these ( linked) photos! ... 1st photo I’ve seen that really shows the depth of this paint selection....
as previously stated by Dracheo, a forest green Color option would be an easy “done deal” choice for me as well .... however...
Here’s a nice paint chart—a good visual reference to compliment your statement ( made up by jcpony for the 2021 mach1; there appears several other similar colors to current 2021 Bronco charted on mach1 palate as well).
Thanks for forwarding these photos Shaun... fantastic!!
… after the Bronco appearance at this Hilton, we may have to refer to this hotel as the “Rock” Garden Inn!
Agreed , money saved; however, in the long run- might prove most cost effective to go Saus/ Factory and remain within warranty parameters without question... if you were to lift yourself.
A new vehicle, already in production for several gens., would provide less risk of (potentially) voiding...
Those owners of Ford ASS ( auto start stop) feature I’ve spoken to have said it’s now second nature to hit the ASS OFF button immediately following ignition(0.2 sec) .
(ASS reengages after every engine shut off)
Apparently an aftermarket co. may have a system to permanently disengage/ override...
Good question...
An option to select black/ white (current assembly base colors) for roll bar color over body color may prove popular among buyers.
I might select black if offered.....as it would be easier to maintain appearance.
I don’t see an assembly constraint to such an option, t.f...
As Brandon/Joe pointed out- a greenish (dark forest) paint option would be an instant winner for many- including myself.
It’s not surprising to find current colors (or color bases) on multiple Ford models, for production efficiency, during pandemic at present.
I bet Fords styling dept. was...
Well, my wife wasn’t behind the wheel - avg. mph would have been lower?...
No doubt, these test drivers/ engineers are pushing (longevity testing) those horses to the limit. Reducing potential unforeseen/ recently corrected flaws translates to less bugs arising on active sold Broncos- post...
The control with a fumoto valve (not available for this plastic pan) is superb.
1) no plug to remove with fumoto; 1/4 turn ( safety clipped) valve.
2) Easy to fine tune oil level after a change if slightly overfilled (a swift open/ close of the fumoto...nice option when using 5 quart size oil...
Also (Based off current production Fords ( I.e. F150 and Ranger)):
2.7 - plastic oil pan (con)
small percentage known to leak
Not fumoto valve compatible
composite strength (oil pan) unknown ( pro or con)
Easy oil filter access (pro)
2.3 - metal oil pan (pro)...
Agreed... easy storage with the split front panel.
A passenger may also appreciate the sun coverage in front... ultimate dual climate!
With all the constraints Ford engineers/ styling dept. had faced- they really nailed the Gen 6 modular Design out of the park!
