Yep, sucks I asked so many times and they weee always dismissive with the concern saying yes it works. Now I have a rack sitting around I can’t use.

Sucks I and others asked several times on social media if the rack would work on painted tops after seeing reports and pictures it would not. They always dismissed the concern and said yes it will work on the painted tops. I ended up buying a second hand one and of course it won’t fit haha

You’re good to go then. The easiest swap possible. I would just use the mod bumper as is with its harness and sensors no need to change anything. It will be plug and play.

Only thing I purchased was new sensor holders since the original owner had to reside them for his new bumper. I did no cutting or modifying of the capable harness or sensors. Swapped the outer front sensors with my outer rear sensors. That gave me the 90 degree angle to clear the brackets in...
