I ordered the part number M2DZ11654DA and I received a M2DZ11654DB which I believe is the newest version.

The part number for that is MB3Z5D032A and it's called a Powertrain Skid Plate Shield. But you would need the brackets (note 3) that support the sta-bar disconnect to the frame in order to install it if you don't have the sta-bar disconnect already.

It was my understanding that the one in the center of the photo was the skid plate for the sta-bar disconnect

Yes. I'm not a fan of the empty space where the sta-bar disconnect button would be.

My Wildtrak hero switch bank has the empty space where the sta-bar disconnect button would be on a First Edition or a Badlands. Has anyone swapped out their stock hero switches with the one that comes stock on the FE or the Badlands? I'm just curious to see if the functionality of the buttons...
