No ragrets here. 2023 Wildtrak lux. I waited a long time and have added several upgrades but there are several things that I do not have to mess with. The Ford price protection and A-Plan made the purchase more palatable, walked out the door after taxes under sticker with no plans to flip.
I am in the same boat on all points except I am a recent purchase. I pulled the trigger based on the history of their products in the off-road community. So far I love my soft top and plan to enjoy it part of the year and switch to the one piece during the colder part of the year when I travel...
I received my soft top bronco just before Christmas and took it to Colorado for Christmas. I learned that the soft top is not bad at all and I am looking forward to summer so the top can come down. I do plan to swap and use a hard top in the winter and soft top in the summer. I have ordered...
The factory hitches require removing the rear bumper because the bolts go in from the rear and I think that the nuts are welded on. The aftermarket hitches are much easier to deal with. I purchased a olsa split beam torque wrench while I was waiting on my bronco. I like that it does not need...
I purchased and mounted the curt but just ordered the draw-tite. I am not a fan of it sticking out further but I needed a little extra length for the pakmule and using an extension looses half of the capacity. Swapping will not take that long so I plan to keep both and mount the curt if I plan...
This looks good but I do see one small issue. There needs to be more space around the tire bump stop because the stock ones are often replaced with longer ones due to aftermarket wheel offsets and the replacement bump stops are usually larger in diameter, at lease mine are.
Congratulations on a well earned accomplishment. I have contributed to your success with the purchase of a few items and have a couple future purchases planned
The tailgate support has nothing to do with replacing the bump stops. Changing to aftermarket wheels with different offset will cause the spare tire to have a gap since the offset pushes the tire out. A new bump stop that is longer is required to fill the gap and contact the tire.
I will save time typing. I have also placed 3 orders. The rest of my comments are the same as HeliPilot. The quality of their products is top notch. I am sorry that you had a bad experience but commodity issues have persisted in all aspects of our lives much longer that I ever anticipated
The dealer will need to program the keypad to your truck but the code is for your truck. I imagine that all broncos have them. Where did you find the card? I will check mine.
I waited over 2 years for a Bronco. Now I can enjoy driving it while I wait for the ADV top. I would rather have it right than fast. In the mean time can we get a compatibility test for the one piece and the TopLift Pro. I am optimistic that it will work but may need a little counter weight...
I purchased the ford bronco kit. 5 sensors and the tool to activate/train them. I swapped the tires to RTR Evos and left the factory sensors in the factory wheels. I am considering mounting dedicated snow tires to the factory wheels for winter.
I agree with the sentiment of most of the post in this thread. If you are willing to spend enough money anything is possible. Personally I love my bronco including the leather interior of my Wildtrak that I waited so long for.
