  1. 4300 mile road trip and review in Bad Batch Betty Badlands

Thanks so much! I hope you get to do another trip - with some wiggle room!
  2. 4300 mile road trip and review in Bad Batch Betty Badlands

    6’2’’. Maybe 6’1 1/2’’ - I’m shrinking in my old age. Lol
  3. 4300 mile road trip and review in Bad Batch Betty Badlands

Bad Batch Betty’s big ‘ol road trip Hey boys and girls. I recently undertook a roughly 4300 mile road trip over a 3 week period in my brand new (sort of 🤪 - I’ll explain in a sec) Bronco Badlands. This was a long trip and so the story will be to. Feel free to bail now or continue reading on - I...
  4. My version of the RC Hidden Winch install - 2.3MT Badlands Mod Bumper

Great work! Wish I had the capabilities to do this. I don’t suppose you could propose your design to RC so that they’d maybe offer this as an option? 🤔 Also, would one be able to use Aux switch #1 instead of installing that main shutoff?
  5. DIY single or double sleeping platform

I’ll try to remember to take some and post them here during my travels. 👍🏻
  6. DIY single or double sleeping platform

It literally installs or removes in seconds. It fits snug and doesn’t rattle under normal conditions. As mentioned previously- I’ll see how it holds up during the trip and off-roading soon!
  7. DIY single or double sleeping platform

I like that idea for the trunk/deck space covering the hinges. They show more than they should because I ran out of paint and was shaking the crap outa that can to get a bit of paint on them. Lol. Just haven’t gone to get more. That being said - the support needs to be 3.75” tall. So it’ll take...
  8. DIY single or double sleeping platform

I’m pulling a 48hr shift at work and don’t have the platform in the Bronco at the moment. If I have time and remember 🤪 I’ll get those measurements for you. Send me a DM so that I remember. 😉
  9. DIY single or double sleeping platform

Good to know - but I have a 4 door and was making this for myself so……..🤪😂
  10. DIY single or double sleeping platform

So I used standard 5/8” plywood. Non pressure-treated. I guess there’s always a chance that it could get wet - but it’s not press wood or MDF so that doesn’t worry me. For the supports I just sandwiched and glued two pieces of the 5/8” ply together and allowed it to dry before cutting them. As...
  11. DIY single or double sleeping platform

At a local hardware store. The size was perfect and it’s been installed for a good while just using 3M mounting tape. I’ll see if it holds up to some good off-roading when I hit up ‘Ol Florida Off-Road Park during my road trip. 🤞🏻

  13. DIY single or double sleeping platform

😂. Yes - the tabs hold the last folding section of platform- which- as you mentioned- only hold up our heads. And if you’re an airhead like me - that’s next to nothing 🤪 However - because the force that’s exerted is essentially downward- those plastic hooks will still hold a decent amount of...
  14. DIY single or double sleeping platform

So I’m about to embark on a little road trip 😉. Roughly 4300 miles. I’m going to spend a few nights in the Bronco (roughly 5-6 total) and wanted a flexible and easy solution that would provide me adequate space, comfort and ease of setup. Although I’ll be going it alone this time, I wanted my...
  15. Cheap DIY 5$ window vent option for in-vehicle camping!

Thanks buddy! One unfortunate thing about the part I used is that the natural position (curve) of the gutter guard results in the mesh being on the outside. You could tear it off and reinstall it on the other side - or replace it with a higher quality mesh - and it would be a much cleaner end...
  16. Cheap DIY 5$ window vent option for in-vehicle camping!

They already exist. Here you go ….. https://www.pandamotorworks.com/products/visual-autowerks-window-vents-2021-ford-bronco-4-door
  17. Cheap DIY 5$ window vent option for in-vehicle camping!

You can’t sell this crap. Lol. They do the job but are flimsy and cheap as hell. They don’t need to be tough though - so they serve their purpose - but as we say - “you get what you pay for!”
  18. Cheap DIY 5$ window vent option for in-vehicle camping!

So I came across this solution recently on YouTube and decided to give it a try since the current options cost hundreds of dollars $$$. This option cost me about 5$ for both since I already had black spray paint and some Gorilla Glue. I’m leaving on a 3 week road trip soon and wanted to have...
  19. Adding the 5th tire (spare) in Forscan

Has anybody changed the number of tires from 4 to 5 in Forscan? Does your spare then show up on your tire pressure screen?
