I was one of the First Batch 22's. Built the last week of December...picked her up on January 14. 4 door Badsquatch w MGV, Lux, tow and capable bumper. I have the fabric on both front seats.
Just installed my @Diabolical Inc Slipstream. Some quick initial thoughts...
1) If you buy one...follow the install video step by step. It's very tedious and time consuming...but not physically difficult.
2) I'm very impressed so far. The modularity really stands out vs other security...
I think the best option would be to make it a molle panel. I assume less materials needed would drive down the overall cost + I think using the molle design makes it infinitely more useful. MTM's molle panels are about $120...and...they are VERY nice! But if Mabett can do a abs/plastic...
$59,000
Just picked up from the dealer. Shadow Black, 4 door, 2.3 AT, Sasquatch, mod bumper, aux switches, soft top. Located in Southern Indiana...right across the river from Louisville, KY
I have the Lux package so I'm not sure if this will be the same as your base. But there is a button above the HVAC controls that allows you to turn the auto start on/off.
I went with the Slipstream. The ease of passthrough and the 2 panel flip top makes it worth the extra cost IMO. I just wish the side panels were molle like the Ford option...but that's an accessory Diabolical can sell for another revenue stream so I understand why they didn't make it part of...
I have a 4 door, soft top, Shadow Black BaseSquatch, 2.3 AT, aux switches and mod bumper scheduled to be built next week. This was for my wife but she doesn't care about the Sasquatch package and she wants the mid package.
Anyone out there with a non-Squatch 4 door Big Bend or Black Diamond...
I saw that video too. I just saw one of these lights at Dollar Tree and thought "Huh...I wonder if I could velcro this to the soft top rail". Sure enough...it works perfectly and the $1 light is amazingly bright.
