Our doggo WiFi usually is in the very back on the road. Offroad I fold the seats down and she does what she's wants. If I'm solo I put her in the front seat. In the end she typically just wants to go lie down on her pillow in the back. No fun til she can play with her ball I guess. Lol

I use the same thing but nearer the door edge. No issues with soft top what so ever in any position. I am planning to replace it with a solution off a rear door brace at some point just because I can.
