A few thoughts:
1. If Ford won't acknowledge the issue (or doesn't want to publicly acknowledge it for obvious PR reasons) it's on us to be sure we're being heard.
2. There are other options- the media. But we need a meaningful, compelling story for someone to write.
3. We have the...
So to bring this thread back to its actual purpose, does anyone know of any orders scheduled at dealers that many members of the forum have ordered through (Stephens, Granger, and the like) for February?
Starting to feel like they might be getting skipped over entirely, timestamps be damned.
Is there a listing of immediate practical mods needed for these things? I'm thinking about that hose that gets cut in 2.7Ls, and now bigger fender flares/ mud flaps.
Anyone else able to point me to a link for a thread like this?
Some brands are actually not horrible at this. Tesla is the obvious one but many premium brands aren’t bad and Hyundai/Kia/Genesis actually has really done well with this feature.
Think he said 17, and @Compta38 you and I were mid 30s, I think.
...Recalling that this round of scheduling was just for the latter half of December, If we assume Ford builds 30-40 for SAC a month, that still puts them on pace to make a boatload of Broncos for us in MY 2022.
I would pay extra for this vs. dumber, less effective lane keep systems that bounce you off the edges of the lane instead of actually steering and keeping you centered in the lane.
This is definitely the question. Maybe with the right offset, dhitesman is proving that you can move Badlands to 35" without a lift.
So options for 35s then become:
a) Sasquatch (more offset and slight lift)
b) at least a little lift (~1" min?)
c) additional offset wheels (TBD additional...
Really hard to justify the Sasquatch price on Badlands. I only worry about not getting that 4.7 diff. I actually prefer the look of the stock wheels over squatch wheels so planning to keep em and maybe do I small lift with 35” rubber after the KO2s wear out.
This was my understanding- Just hoping I was wrong. Over a year in and I still find myself second guessing whether or not to get SAS on the Badlands.
I'd feel better if I could get the 4.7 gearing and better future proof future tire upgrades.
This video explains the chip shortage. One Taiwanese company makes 90% of advanced chips and 24% of all chips. It's whole business model is based on building them more efficiently so that others like Apple/ nVidia can focus on designing chips and then having TSMC produce them.
They're building...

Go Browns! As far as jerseys are concerned, in our house, I'm Garrett, wife is Mayfield, and the kids are Jarvis and Chubb.
Just because they, legally, can reallocate all orders any way they like, doesn't mean that they're keeping the spirit of the promise that they made over and over again to prioritize reservation timestamps as best they could when fulfilling orders. Would you be making this argument if they were...
The cancelled orders won't be built or shipped, niterider. So there will be no build up of supply for these dealers or anywhere for that matter for a solid couple years until Ford can get it's manufacturing act together. By that time, Broncos will become a bit more ubiquitous, remaining...
