Removing the rear quarter panel glass seems like it will create more problems than it is worth. I might even intentionally choose a top that does not have this option.
I though about squeezing a larger tire on base wheels. I came to the conclusion I would be happier in the long run with wider rims and tires. I do not want to spend over $1000 on new tires I really don’t want.
I have been paying attention to blue cars/trucks while driving. I also visited a ford dealership and saw antimatter blue on an F150. Personally, for me the blue is too dark. Most of the time it is almost black. I think it hides the lines of the vehicle. I really wanted to like the color...
My problem is nobody knows for certain what tires will fit on the base. I would hate to forgo Squatch and 33’s rub.
This is not considering gears either.
I would have been happy with a base and beefy 33’s and after market wheels.
I just do not think that is the case. I think it probably...
I am the same way. My kids even asked if the non Squatch is the same vehicle.
My coworker saw the side by side shot of SQ vs OBX. Told me not even purchase a Bronco without Squatch.
I am probably going to go 2.7 base with SQ. This will give the base a lift, better shocks, axel, gearing and rims.
Run the 35’s until need new tires. If I did not like the 35’s drop down to 33’s for the second set.
The SQ is the only way to get some of these options on the base. However...
I would get the 4 door with the kid. The 4 door will give you more storage, seating room and the passage will not have to get out of the vehicle when the back seat passage gets out of the car. (School drop off, etc...)
That is a concern about the base looking cheaper all around. Like when you see the base F150 work trucks driving around.
I agree it would be nice to see them in person. I would even be happy to have real photos of each trim. Not CGI or staged pics.
I have reserved 4 door base and will add the following:
Base 4 Door $33,200
2.7 V6 $ 3,500
SQ $ 5,000
Hardtop MIC $ 700
Tow $ 600
Bumper $ 800
$43,800
WildTrack 4 Door $51,370
2.7 V6...
I am in Morgantown with an easy commute. There are a ton of places to explore around me (I am just not real familiar with them).
I have decided on the Sasquatch. Now the big question is am I going to stay with Base trim, SQ & 2.7; or will price me to move up in the trim levels. Maybe Black...
I am planning for some off road adventures. Just none like the pics from Rubicon or moab. I do not want to damage the body. Fire roads, unmainted county roads. I live in West Virginia, it does take long to find a fun road or trail.
I have never had an opportunity to have a vehicle like...
I was noticing this on the side view with the glossy hard top (which I originally liked). It does not match the trim or B pillar. This pic of the grill even magnifies it even more.
In my personal experience, it is not the camera, creature comfort tech that is an issue. It is all the tech that has some type of drive related sensors.
An example of a problem I have had is a steering wheel position sensor. It can be used for rear camera backup guidance lines. This went bad...
