Is there a reason (besides aesthetics) that a receiver mount needs to be centered? It's not going to be used with anything while driving, right? Wouldn't welding it into the inside corner of the mount would work just as well? Getting the locking pin in and out through a hole in side would be...

I'm one of those turn-your-own-wrenches guys.. and unfortunately, I have no idea where I'd go if I wanted someone else to do it. I'm pretty much a skeptic of all automotive places (until they're proven with good work and fair prices)... so I won't recommend a place unless I've used them myself...

I hit 24° on this one. L Rear went in a deep puddle/hole.. took out my rear license plate housing. 🤷‍♂️ At least the bumper was still good.

@Lak34ers The amber lights are already in the signature lights (for the turn signal, not the 'halo'). The ForScan hack turns those amber ones on instead of the white ones as DRLs. They still blink properly for turns and emergency flashers. When the headlights come on, they go back to running...

@SuzH It's intimidating.. but super easy. Only hack anyone will ever see are the amber DRLs.. but all the others are the ones that make it more fun (Sport mode for us BL guys 🤘).. and less annoying (honking with key out of vehicle.. auto engine shut off). 100% recommend.

Looks great on EG! The DRLs don't come on until it's out of park. So all pics I take is where where it was safe to put it in neutral and engage the parking brake. Unfortunately, this fix doesn't keep the DRLs amber once the headlights come on. They go back to the normal white at that...

That was lost on me until I went to the Walmart link 👙... haha, yeah.. that's a slippery slope, dude... and bikini girl sure ain't sticking 'round when all you're left with is a cheapass cupholder. 😄
