Agree, his "contract" has some issues. He does have an order form with his name on it and FE from roughly the same date as the deposit.

Not a lawyer, but I think similar to a real estate contract, you could sue for specific performance since the FE is a unique item. It is a contract as you've both agreed and consideration was paid.

No email on scheduling since I was rescheduled to week of 9/20 on 8/7. Checked the tracking link in the 8/7 email and mine has moved to "In production", and I have the link to the window sticker, but the sticker hasn't been released yet.
