  1. Bad news about MIC 2.0 quality after a few days

Gotta disagree with you on that. It certainly is a quality issue. While I agree it is not known if this will lead to catastrophic failure, it certainly isn't the way it's supposed to be. The unreinforced outer layer at the delam is at risk of failure, if nothing else. Moderate pressure from...
  2. Bad news about MIC 2.0 quality after a few days

A separation in the layers of an exposed edge of a lamination isn't a quality issue in your opinion?
  3. FINAL UPDATE: Complete Engine Failure - SAS Big Bend - 3wk Old / 1000mi / 2.7L EcoBoost

Ha! The 300 straight six was the reason my dad swore off Fords in the 80's. He had an absolute lemon of a 300 in an 85 F150 he bought new. Timing issues from day 1, rod bearings failed at 63k miles.
  4. FINAL UPDATE: Complete Engine Failure - SAS Big Bend - 3wk Old / 1000mi / 2.7L EcoBoost

I wouldn't panic just yet. He's a Ford tech but a Jeep guy, so there's more salt than McDonald's fries. I note he says they're waiting on parts for 2 engines, not 2 engines, which could be just about anything. Not sure how real that 30 engines figure is either, I'm sure it's perception, and...
  5. FINAL UPDATE: Complete Engine Failure - SAS Big Bend - 3wk Old / 1000mi / 2.7L EcoBoost

FWIW, which is very little IMO... Put our Gladiator up for sale, mentioned that we got a Bronco, of course saltiness ensued.
  6. Bad news about MIC 2.0 quality after a few days

Good eye. I agree, looks like a small bead of sealer.

  10. Not getting Fordpass points

I took delivery 10/8. Got 42k 10/10 or 10/11. Nothing since. Reached out to dealer Monday, said he reached out to Ford on the rest, nothing yet. Waiting for tube doors to be released anyway.
  11. My first time taking the 2 door hardtop off by myself

My wife is limited in her ability to help lift. I reached out to freedom jack and tried to work with them to develop their lift for the Bronco, but the owner eventually said it couldn't be adapted due to the position of the roll bar. I already have the HF hoist, so that seemed like a great...
  12. Not getting Fordpass points

  14. flat tire while "off roading" my Sashquatch

A good tire shop will patch it, if it can be patched, not plug it.
  15. I still haven’t seen a single Bronco out in public

I finally saw one (other than my own) on Saturday, in Knightdale, NC. Red 4D. I was driving our Gladiator at the time, so either they saw me looking and ignored me, or they paid no attention because it was a Jeep...
  16. Here are the Bronco Build & Tracking links

My build day was on a Friday (9/24) as well, nothing updated, no modules populated. Then at noon on Sunday (9/26) I got the 'built' email from Ford. The modules populated after that.
  17. What side is Aux wiring in the back of the bronco?

  18. Use of 4×4 modes on dry, non-slippery surfaces, and somewhat related questions about G.O.A.T. modes…

I can confirm that you can shift to 2H in Baja mode (FE owner). Traction control is disabled, and shift points increase to 5000 rpm, may be some changes in steering performance also.
