are you looking go bigger tires too or just changing the wheels?
personally, I swapped out everything at once - changed out suspension to King coil overs and Camburg UCAs and rear links and added 37s and Method 707s (0 offset).
I run the Falken Wildpeak AT3W in 37s (Hammer Built spare carrier) with Method 707s
3 Peak rated for snow and no problems off road. relatively quiet in my opinion and not super heavy in comparison to some others out there
It’s a wear item so not hat I’ve heard. However, I did see ford has added some off-road coverage that I think covers small dings and wheel rash (within certain size limits)
It was awful at first but that was just me getting used to the noise in general coming from an Audi, which is quiet. I don't really notice it anymore unless I'm 75mph+ on the highway.
I will say that I really like the light. it's come in handy on some night runs and when people give me high...
Or open your tailgate. Then it will be visible
I mean I like the stuff from Lobo personally. I’m going to get their winch bumper as I like the clean look and tight fit. wanted the hidden winch mount but 2.7 version still not available.
@tcraig808 yes - there were some OBX, BB, and BD if I recall. The ones who took damage were non Squatch - well, not including the flat tire, that was a WT that may not have taken the best line. Not sure as that was 4-5 rigs behind me. I know the requirements said 33” tires but I’d say you need...
I got rid of those Goodyears quickly. I did not like all the rock slinging they do and didn’t find them that great on the trails either. I h happier with my Falken AT3W
Not the shock skids - he is pointing out the skid on the trailing arm mount - under the front mounting location. I think BL and FE have those from factory. My WT does not.
