So far my MIC 2.0 seems do be doing fine. The fit and finish are what I would expect and it doesn’t leak even when I use a power washer to clean it. Time will tell if it stays that way. I will add that almost 20 years go my 911 targa glass roof would leak whenever it got wet and that was a much...
I took delivery of my 2-door basesquatch last week. The winch is more important than the bumper. The reason I ordered it with the Mod bumper was in hopes of finding a great winch bumper but they are all huge and stupidly overpriced. That will change as the after market catches up.
Nope not a word from anyone. I'm not in a huge hurry. My plan is to install the rough country hidden winch mount with the plastic bumper and just wait.
I removed the front sway bar this afternoon and took it for a drive. It definitely articulates better up front and under 35 mph it feels comfortable. As the speed increases the body roll definitively starts getting worse. It could be a problem if you have to avoid something on the freeway and...
This is a brilliant write up. Any chance you could share the part numbers? Also where did you pull power from and how did you get the audio signal to the amp?
I have no idea what their state of allocation is. They didn't have any broncos on the lot for sale or at least not that I saw. Jorge was great to work with and was always straight with me even when it wasn't what I wanted to hear.
That is the feed back that I'm looking for. I'll give it a try this weekend and gradually push its limits to see how it responds. My gut is that it is already stiff enough that that the body roll will be manageable. It's the emergency stuff that really concerns me.
I certainly don't think the world will come to an end and I am old enough to remember when cars didn't automatically come with sway bars. That said, just how woolly is it? Are you getting lots of body roll and understeer/oversteer on the tarmac? My 2-door basesquatch is already sprung a...
So how is this supposed to work? I took delivery of my 2-door basesquatch last Friday and the dealer told me that it would be a rebate from Ford. My reservation was July 14, 2020 and I didn't change my order at all. Should I just reach out to Ford customer service?
On Friday I picked my 2-door BaseSquatch at MSRP of from Wondries Ford in Alhambra California. They said they do MSRP for customers’ orders. There were no games and they made it easy.
Our 1967 is fondly called “The Donkey” because during the first year of ownership it would reliably break down and leave my 16 year old son on the side of the road/trail. After replacing or rebuilding every single part it is now completely reliable.
I took delivery of my 2.3 auto basesquatch and it has plenty of power. I just drove it to my lake house at 5,200 feet and it went up the mountain with ease. It the 2 door it's faster than you need in everyday driving. As far as off roading goes, that is all about gearing and has little to do...
