I had a 2007 BMW 328xi Touring for many years before I made the switch to the Bronco. It needed a new wiring harness about two months before the Bronco was delivered so it was put out to pasture and I went without a car until they delivered the new one. Absolutely loved that car. Fun to drive...
This is also my use case and I suspect you are correct that this is true for most people. The only think I want the vehicleās OS to do is run CarPlay effectively. Currently Sync 4 has so many issues that it keeps my CarPlay from working as it should some days. And this past week, when I updated...
I was going to be one of those people, but Ford wouldnāt sell me the kit in Vermont. Frustrating rules from Ford on that.
OP ā you mention Modular in your post title but then you say Capable in your post text. Which one do you have? Itās a pretty big difference between the two when it comes to...
Agree with the advice others have given. Just want to add that you should take the trail ratings listed in ON X with a grain of salt. Iāve taken trails that were rated 6/10 and it was maybe a 2/10. Took one trail that was a 3/10 and it had either deteriorated substantially or was mislabeled to...
I just checked mine and I still just have the shock recall ā no camera recall was added for me. I have a ā24 Badlands w/ Lux. Based on the posts I have read, it seems like just ā23 and older are included in this one. And I have never had problems with my cameras. (Yet. *knocks wood*)
My motorcycle buddies could not understand why I wanted a Bronco so badly. I realized at one point they had only seen the Sport. When mine came in, they immediately changed their tune. My Badlands, 2DR, 7MT in EGM was NOT what they had been picturing.
To add an interesting bit to this, the location of the FOB within the vehicle is pretty sensitive as well. Iāve gotten into the passenger seat with the engine off and the key in my right pocket to let someone else drive it and it wouldnāt start. It gave the āno key detectedā warning. I had to...
Catching up on this thread and realized you got the first part right. But he didnāt exactly drive that RB to victory in Japan. Glad to see Yuki get that seat regardless. Hope he finds some better pace in the coming weeks. I probably like him as much as I dislike Max.
Itās been an exciting start...
I have the same philosophy on this as you but it came from my high school chemistry teacher. He advised us to use the same gas station as much as possible so you know where things went wrong if you get a bad tank. And to buy top tier fuel. Back in those days, the regulations were more lax and...
Iām an unapologetic Lewis fan so this comes from my heart more than from my analytic brain ā but my hot take is Hamilton wins his 9th WDC (giving him 8 officially) and Red Bull finishes third in the Constructors behind Ferrari and McLaren.
I also think we see far more red and yellow flags this...
My experience has been the opposite. While on road trips, I sometimes have to use ethanol fuel and see a slight dip if itās the same octane and on the same road from one tank to the next. Itās minor, but Iāve tracked every drop of fuel thatās been in the Bronco since new and over 15k miles, Iāve...
Octane rating will have a bigger impact than just non-ethanol of the same octane rating. I use 91 octane, non-ethanol in all of my vehicles. Motorcycles especially crave higher octane and donāt love ethanol. Same with all my small engines (snowblower, wood chipper).
The biggest reason I use...
True. Also true that this represents a lot of effort to just maintain the stock bumper. Mostly wanted to do that to avoid moving the sensors and shit that is incorporated with the Lux package. But a new bumper is probably the better solution long term if my goal is added strength and protection.
Iām in Vermont (tons of deer where I live) and also have a Badlands. Would like to maintain the modular bumper and am curious to hear recommendations from others as well.
I want to maximize protection but donāt want to block or relocate the camera ā that limits the options Iām finding. These...
I donāt know this for sure, but strongly suspect that those are not adjustable through ForScan. Iām sure there are NTSB approvals for brightness and regulations about roadworthiness that would prohibit making changes.
Related to this question, while you do get adaptive cruise with the manual (and Lux) if you get the manual there are twin options you have to give up. 1) remote start and 2) trail turn assist. Makes sense to me why they canāt put those on a manual, but wanted you to be aware that there are a...
