Bronco 6 lug version of this wheel. Also, the new center cap design! Due to the timeframe that this wheel was designed, it will not be present at SEMA, but available to order.
The lug nuts aren't vendor supplied. Just different vendor we're sourcing the Ti bars from. We'll still machine them in house. ;)
New cost raw finish will be available in 2-3 weeks. Add 4-6 more weeks for black DLC coated.
We've shipped several orders of the PVD black M12x1.5 closed end lug nuts. I haven't received an install pic from those customers though. You know what?! If I have a set of 27 on the shelf, I'll put them on our Bronco. I've been wanting to swap out the current hardware.
Here’s a set of the Ti...
Of all of the coatings, PVD and DLC are the best. They cost more,… but they’re the best. Both are an order of magnitude stronger than even cerakote. Don’t even waste your time with painted/powder coated/or any other coating. They’ll chip, the metal substrate (likely cheap steel) with rust before...
As far as the automated emails go, I wish I could get rid of them. Prior to those being implemented, we’d constantly get emails saying - “I placed this order and I haven’t heard anything from you guys.” I guess it’s expected that when an order is placed it also grants the purchaser pen pal...
Eventually and don’t think it’s not an option that we’ve explored several times. But right now, crazy to say, there are aspects of the business that supersede the need to have a dedicated CSR. Naturally, we read all of the emails, triage, and address the installation questions, shipment issues...
We ship them out every day. With more machines producing the STIRRUPS and MAGNUM steps, they're getting ahead of the clamps assemblies, which require more post process steps, some off site, to get them ready to go. Powdercoat/apply rubber/pre-assemble for packaging.
The forum is a small sample...
After a couple more revisions, the RUTS will be going into full production this month. Orders would ship out between the Thanksgiving and New Year timeframe. These will fall in line with the roof rack that will debut at SEMA.
Non-issue. The shifter assembly is not a direct input into the the transmission, like on an old Top Loader. The shifter assembly is that big bulky plastic thing you see in my previous pictures. It's just the shift arm and linkages connecting it to the trans.
Knob weights. I didn’t think about the OEM knob. I’ll try to get that today. Overall weight of the machined knobs will be slightly higher once they’re coated and the OEM shaft to AR adapter is added.
I’m thinking about making the adapter out of different materials to make the weight adjustable...
Dude... one of my favorite memes. 🤣
They're done. I haven't put eyes on them though. I forget what color we asked for from powdercoat. Possibly the BADLAND'ish orange/yellow. Our Bronco has the OEM winch mount so we can use it to mock up. I'll reach out to one of our local customers for an...
Okay. This really makes me want a Bronco with a manual transmission. I tried to capture the best angles in these photos. I got sidetracked when my photographer Andrew showed up and didn’t get pics of the knobs on the scale. I’ll get those today.
The R Lock design feels intuitive and visually...
