Not sure the timing, but within 4 years from now I will be driving a 2 door black diamond with white rims, white roof, and a white stripe down the side.
I guess I'm lucky. Small town and small dealerships. Granted my dealer couldn't spot the different between a Bronco and his butthole but he wouldn't screw me over on price like this. If he did though, I would take that 5-10k ADM and instead use it to purchase ad time on the local radio and...
For some reason I'm thinking of my old NES where you'd have to blow on the cartridge, tap it three times and then gently close the door. I know there is at least one other person on this forum that will get that reference...
The controllers were indestructible but don't you dare glance at the...
I'm sure they make great products but I have to admit, I did a double take when I saw the picture of them using that tape measurer.
Reminds me of my grandfather who never met a problem a 20 pound sledge couldn't fix. Two of his favorite quotes were:
"Good enough for who it's for."
and
"Close...
still no luck. I think the owner is using it as a personal toy or I just have bad luck. Dealer closer to home has a 4 door wildtrak but it's never in either. They are renting it out for $100 or overnight for $500.
Oh well, no real hurry. Not like there is any chance of me...
I like the retro thing but why do people pick the dumb ass shit to bring back?
-said by a man who didn't understand the style first time it was around...
I'm going to put a white vinyl stripe along the side for that old school look.
Yeah yeah I know its a Chevy but it was the first on Google. White top will depend on the success of others or I'll buy it in a few years.
Lawyers make them say it. Your way means it will go anywhere. Lawyer speak says, we didn't say it would go over those specific rocks, just that it can handle some other rocky terrain. I agree with you though.
And I like the goat modes. I just don't see me using them. Since I'm sticking with...
I agree with just about everything in this thread but these two
Are so bat shit bonkers that I have to respect that. Kinda like this dude.

Yes, his eyes are tattooed black...
Like some weird art shit I clearly don't understand but I can admire their commitment to the cause...
Now...
I think this is pretty spot on. If you're buying local from a reputable dealer, I think you're fine. However, if you're far away at a dealer that just opened or looking to close up and retire, they might try something iffy.
Look at it from their point of view. A few extra bucks and years of...
I emailed mine earlier today saying that a few dealers an hour or so away had already received theirs or would be soon.
His entire response: "waiting on chips."
Yeah, most dealers do not deserve the commissions they take.
Thanks for the heads up. I spoke to the dealer and they do have it available. I made it clear I already had an order with another dealer but that didn't stop the high pressure sales.
I didn't get to see it today though. The dealership is right next to my brother in law's. We were planning...
Same boat. I wouldn't even think of it as a compromise. I'd love to be able to get a painted top instead in 2 years.
My dealer called a few weeks ago to see if I'd switch. Conversation went something like this...
Dealer: wanna switch to a soft top?
Me: I'm a 2 door.
Dealer: yeah, you...
I hope they still have it. Just made an appointment for Monday but the lady couldn't confirm it was there. Thanks for the heads up. I've been dying to finally see one in person.
When they decided this sub brand thing, they screwed up not giving the Bronco another name. Bronco Maverick, Bronco Ranchero, Bronco whatever. Although I personally would have went with the Bronco Goat.
