Typically if the perimeter edge is not sitting completely flush it is because the housing is hung up around the side camera and just needs to be snapped in around the camera before snapping in the perimeter clips.

It depends on how much power the bumper and a-pillar lights are pulling. It seems like a lot to put all on the parking light circuit. It would be better generally to wire in a relay that will trigger from the parking light signal and pull power from the battery.

Max amp draw (for the heater element specifically) at 12VDC is approximately 2A per side.

The heaters are 24W per side, is there a specific specification that you are looking for?

Having personally wheeled this in Moab, Sedona, plus thousands of miles of highway driving, never had an unintentional disconnect. The panel is cradled in the dock then secured by magnets so it's pretty solid.

Zero lag, it is instantaneous because the app is linked directly to the controller rather than to a satellite relay like your Ford app.
