  1. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

I have already installed the UPR Dual Valve Oil catch can and a Roush Air intake and I was planning on getting the Whipple Supercharger Performance Kit so I am already going to void my warranty anyway. Also, I have trust issues with other people working on my vehicles due to numerous lack of...
  2. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

If you removed the heads took the heads to a machine shop with the new improved valves it would be within a few hundred dollars to have this done. Then the cost of the parts including new head gaskets would be in my opinion between $300-$400 but this is an estimate before COVID-19. I will find...
  3. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

I will get a price estimate from FORD Parts in the next couple of days and will report back.
  4. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

I would use a fuel stabilizer from Amsoil or a similar brand name equivalent if you are planning on keeping it mostly in storage, just saying. Mine is also garaged at this time while I wait on suspension and other aftermarket accessories. I was using the wait for parts as an excuse until Ford...
  5. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

@VictoryLights JD21211 I agree with everything said except never buying a Ford again. There are many challenges for businesses to maintain their quality control with employee shortages across the nation. The Bronco is a success but came during the worst possible time.
  6. *** REVISED - WARNING***JB4 Tune from Lethal Performance Review on Bronco 2-Door WT 2.7L

Thank you for the update. I have changed my build plan with the plan on going with the Whipple Performance Tune, namely because of the transmission shift points being adjusted with it. I am holding off though to see if FORD will be doing an engine head recall on the 2.7 before risking the...
  7. The "Ultimate Ford Bronco Build" Caught Testing On The Streets Of Dearborn

No need for a SFA, Marlin Crawler has a 2021 Bronco and if they get enough interest demand they will allocate some of their resources to get their Rock Crawler Long Travel kit (RCLT) to production. Check out this video for more info. Go 10:30 for the ground clearance benefits over SFA. (25) SAS...
  8. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

Honestly for those that have the "AA" designation FORD should do a head cylinder recall fast and be done with it. Why wait till somebody get seriously injured???
  9. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

Because people will paid a lot more for pretty billet because it looks coo with 0 performance benefits. Billet does offer a little extra adjustability, durability, and a more solid connection to the shock tower (UCA) with those good looks. For the rear links, I believe it is just a bit more...
  10. Okay - Name Drop Your Favorite Pressure Washers

After much searching, I got the CAT Pressure Washer (Brand name). This pressure washer sells for $249 and was one of Obsessed Garage's favorite (although he went with the Chinese brand for a little less on cost). It has the performance of a way higher-end model with its 5-piston pump design. If...
  11. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

Mine is an AA :cautious: with a JD of 21211.... This sucks!!!!
  12. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

I know, out of everything that could go wrong it had to be such a crucial critical component that requires a full engine, turbo, and Cat replacement. Terrible... hopefully, FORD issues out that recall soon to reduce future victims of sudden engine detonation.
  13. 2.7L blown engine failure list . . 68 so far [Updated: December 13, 2022]

Did the red FE just drop the valve recently? If so, please add your name to the engine fail list and report it to 2021 FORD BRONCO 4 DR 4WD | NHTSA, and then click on the top right link "Report a Safety Problem". Ford needs to issue out that recall @Ford Motor Company
  14. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

@Dusty at ICON Awesome, well I have known of ICON back in 2008 when they were at the 2008 FJ Summit in Colorado. ICON had what looked like rebranded Redbull 12oz cans in a large 55 plastic barrel on ice and supplied the whole event with free energy drinks over the course of 4-5 days. The...

Does anyone have a link to where to purchase the right color A51 paint? It looks like Ford and other companies have the wrong paint color for the KU paint code??? I bought from FORD directly and the paint code matches up but the color is a dark gray. PLease help!!!

  17. Mishimoto's Performance Intercooler R&D Thread

November 2021 to March 2022, need an update on the new Intercooler, please!!!
  18. ICON Complete Coilover Suspension Systems (Stages 3 through 8)

@Dusty at ICON I am considering going with the stage 8 ICON suspension setup, I do have some questions though in regards to ICON's warranty and reportedly horrible customer service that I have found on Youtube videos and people leaving comments. Usually, it is about the shocks leaking. Although...
  19. Best Rock Crawling IFS Suspension in development for Bronco 21+???

After watching and speaking with Marlin Crawler a couple of times, I did get confirmation that they have a Bronco in their possession when I offered up mine and that it was on their to-do list without an ETA. Today the communication was "I cannot confirm". Seriously this suspension upgrade path...
