Hey Brandon, I did exactly this with my DD SS3 and SS2s. My backlights are wired into the parking lights. To answer your question, yes, they can be seen during the day, but since mine are wired into the parking lights and I usually have my lights set to auto, they only come on when it’s dark...
Thanks! I originally purchased a vinyl sticker for the oval from a vendor I found on Etsy with really good reviews, but before I applied it I ran across these guys at EmblemCity...
Mine is an extra third vehicle. Which is totally stupid, I know, because I work from home and my wife is a stay-at-home mom, but hey... it's just for fun. :)

Thanks much for the quick response. Looks like both left and right lights have the same label: "PRO ABL 176580." I removed the bezel and lens and checked it out (I'm slightly blinded now ) and the light seems white mainly but does have more of a yellow output than the other side.
If...
I thought about buying a Tesla when they had some sort of exclusivity appeal. Now 1 out of every 5 cars in my town is a Tesla, it seems like. With a few other EVs sprinkled in for good measure.
I’m similarly fortunate. My company allows me to expense my gas and maintenance/repairs on my primary vehicle… which is now my Bronco. It’s a great perk. That said, my wife’s next vehicle is likely to be an EV.
Just installed my flush mount kit this past week along with the Diode Dynamics lights, and I have to say, this is awesome. Love the look of the bezel and it looks great with the DD SS3 and SSC2s.
@4x4TruckLEDs.com - just one question: how much color temperature variance should there be between...
I've been curious about this and have been contemplating bringing my Bronco into the dealer to get checked out. When I have the heat on, no air comes out of the dash vents, only the A-pillar vents. If I switch over to A/C, cold air blows out of the dash vents. Are they just not for heating, or...
I come from a big Ford family -- mainly trucks. I grew up on a farm, so we were very utilitarian-focused. My first new car was an 86 Mustang LX and I traded that for a new 90 Ranger. Both were good vehicles, especially the Ranger, but after that, I kind of soured on Ford. Had a couple of...
Cool, but you won't see the backlight when the fogs are on... or am I missing something?
At any rate, mine are installed and work perfectly. I've got the backlight on all three pairs (SS3 offroad x 1, SSC2 fogs x 2) tied into the parking lights and the main light tied into the aux switches: one...
I haven't had that issue. On mine, the emblem is well clear of the curve.
I'm curious how these things might hold up in an automatic car wash though. I'm a bit nervous to try it with mine.
Gotcha, thanks. My SSC2s came with a backlight and I added that as an option with the SS3. I’m installing this week but trying to decide if I want to wire into my parking lights (preferred) or aux switch. Looking for someone that has experience with tapping into the parking lights to see if any...
Rockblox or Weathertech? If the latter, it's not quick. It's not difficult, but it'll probably take you a good 30-45 minutes and there are parts that you have to swap out since the WeatherTech replaces some of the fender well liner screws in the front. And you'll need to make sure you carry your...
Yeah, it’s nice on a warm day to get that extra breeze. On the Jeep I found myself resting my foot on the lower door hinge quite frequently, so when I saw the foot pegs I thought I’d give them a try. They’re quite comfortable.
That said, I wonder if it would be the same situation on the Bronco...
