No. The dealer is in another state, 600 miles away. I have purchased vehicles from Capital previously. But in the past few years, my interactions have not been very positive.
My daughter's car was going to need replacement, so I ordered a Bronco from the small town dealer that she lives near. The thought was to drive it for a few months and flip it to her at a 'favorite daughter' price. (She is an adaptive ski coach and fly fishing guide, so needs the functionality...
My dealer tells me that they have an allocation of ~15 broncos for this year. Against more than 100 unfilled orders. (Small, very wealthy resort community). Way to impress new-to-the-brand customers Ford. As a stockholder, I am appalled at the switch away from reservations to allocations.
So far I have seen one Rivian. It was last weekend at Kirkwood Ski Resort near Lake Tahoe. It reminded me of a mid-90's GM product because, just like most of those, one daytime running light was burned out. :ROFLMAO:
No, Land Rover makes you wait a little while. With a 40k mile original warranty, my wife's Evoque needed a new engine at 43,000 miles. Fortunately, I had been cautious about the brand and had purchased a CPO dealer demo with a 100k warranty. Land Rover was very nice about it and gave me a...
Life is short. You can either walk away or do someone a favor. Tell your acquaintance that you will sell it to him at your total out of pocket cost plus a case of your favorite adult beverage (or perhaps a donation of $2k to your favorite charity). Everybody wins and you don't have to hassle...
I love Jags. I've owned an XJ, and an XJR - the latter during Fords ownership of the brand. They were great cars. My wife currently drives a Range Rover Evoque. She loves the package, I hate the build quality. JLR replaced the entire engine at 43k miles and we have had many other 'issues'...
If you have a loan on the vehicle with Ford Motor Credit, you might reach out to them for help on payment forbearance while the vehicle is out of service.

Black or white, any letter.
What am I missing? There have been ~33k+ produced but only ~17,500 sold. With ~6,200 “Gross Stock”, that still leaves over 9,000 vehicles unaccounted for. Maybe a few hundred at OffRoadeo. Where are the others?
I love cactus gray on the Ranger, but in person on a bronco it just didn’t jump at me, so I bailed. I really liked white with all of the black accents, but opted for cyber orange to go with the theme of our ‘66.
I had a cactus big bend 2-door on order. We both decided that the two colors that really pop on the car were cyber orange and white. I’ve had a lot of white vehicles, so I went with cyber orange and upgraded to a badlands non-sas with a high package, 2.3 manual.
My daughter and I were there about a month ago. Although the pictured area is perhaps the most visually dramatic, it is not the most technically challenging. (Very glad that I took my daughter and not my wife. ;)) Great guides. The morning was spent with basic trail driving tactics and the...
