  1. Guys... I found THE best Bronco deal of the year

Folks, Please stop clicking on "Reply" on the OP's post. We don't need to keep living the nightmare picture of that Bronco.🥺
  2. Making back windshield wiper functional with new MIC top

Same here. To me it wouldn't be worth the hassle.
  3. Major issue with my new Bronco's wheels / hub (wheel came off while driving)

Looks to me like 5 of the stud/Lugnuts were "over" torqued.
  4. Support for The Stig - B6G Call to Action

    "True" 35's.
  5. New Build Advice: Locker vs V6

I can almost smell the clutch watching that video. What happed to low range and the crawl gear?
  6. Patches

I'm gone to have to get patches from the beach bars I indulge in. From Dewey Beach to Fenwick Island.😜
  7. 2 door Trektop installed & ready for summer

Looks great OP! The soft top not leaking has the hardtop beat then.🙂
  8. Unbelievable car crash (NOT Bronco) ... due to loose wheel spacers?

I agree. Now we can talk about the added stress on big negative offset wheels and or spacers have on the spindle.😜
  9. Bronco 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, 6G -- Generations Compared

Yes it was! What was worse was the Dana 27 or 28 in the front. I bought a limited slip for the front, and when it came it was so small, I thought it was something for a riding lawnmower. But what was funny I never had an issue with it.
  10. Bronco 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, 6G -- Generations Compared

That's the way to do it. You feel a lot better wheeling when your wallet isn't on the line.
  11. Bronco 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, 6G -- Generations Compared

My wheeling buddy back then had a I think 1991 Ranger pick-up that came with a 8.8" rear and Dana 35 TTB front. It would handle alot more power and 35" tires.
  12. Bronco 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, 6G -- Generations Compared

Maybe if you babied it. That would be tough with a nice sounding V-8 under the hood. I must be an over-achiever; I could tear up that 7.5" rear with a 140hp V-6.😁
  13. Bronco 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, 6G -- Generations Compared

That'll work. It's kind of funny, I first bought my 1974 for the drivetrain to put in my 1986 Bronco II because I kept tearing the rear up (7.5" w/4.56 gears and a lunchbox locker). That tiny rear didn't like the 33" Swampers. I finally woke up from being stupid and built the 1974 with a...
  14. Bronco 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, 6G -- Generations Compared

😲I'll bet that was fun! How did you make that 7.5" rear end survive?
  15. Bronco 1G, 2G, 3G, 4G, 5G, 6G -- Generations Compared

There is a really good book written by Todd Zuercher that covers all the details of all the years of the Bronco. I highly recommend it. Book, A History of Fords Legendary 4x4-Broncograveyard.com
  16. Problems driving in sand

Sounds like a good day to be a tech! Good luck!
  17. Problems driving in sand

Something isn't right then. Can you take somebody (a buddy with the knowledge of 4x4's would be a plus) with you and have them get out of the vehicle and see if they can tell what's going on?
  18. Problems driving in sand

OP, while your tire/gearing is a little less than ideal, you still should have no problem in "low range". I don't know the sequence of the events but try it out in low range first before things have a chance to heat up. Hoping for the best for you!
