It might be a deal breaker for me.. The base comes with some real dopey looking tires and wheels. I don't want to deal with aftermarket stuff, I've already been burned enough times with that. The base also has some underwhelming ground clearance. I primarily am looking for a vehicle with 4WD/AWD...
I reserved a Bronco from the same dealer as the OP. All I've received is a email saying congratulations on the reservation and a link to the Bronco Nation website. I'm going to inquire later today about this and see what they say.
My email was from a "Nathaniel" if I recall. You could just be...
I was thinking I'd go cactus grey or velocity blue (which seems to be missing on the Ford page...) but damn that antimatter blue looks great. Reminds me of the matte blue on my old Veloster Turbo rally edition.
Unless it's something stupid cheap like $1000 to upgrade to the 2.7L I'd never pay the price premium. The fun part of a stick is wringing out power from a "low" power engine, and saving a ton of cash when you buy the car/truck. Only thing that entices me about the 2.7L is that is has port...
It's extremely possible that it's just a random pre-production vehicle, or a CGI/CGI altered image, so it's not really worth the effort to attempt to read the tea leaves.
It's not a no-brainer that the 2.7L would offer a manual. It was 99.99% chance never going to happen. The manual only exists to check off a box of required things that people will gripe about if it doesn't exist, and to get the advertised base price down. It's already borderline more trouble...
My fingers are crossed for $2,000, but I'm being optimistic. The cost for a customer to add those things to a Bronco aftermarket will be expensive, but when they're there from the factory you're subtracting the cost of the stock equipment, and Ford is going to get bulk discount on all those...
Just curious if this happened to anyone else. If there's a problem there is plenty of time to get it fixed with Ford.
I reserved a base model. Got confirmation number and everything. The confirmation email sent from Ford says I reserved a Wildtrak. Logging in to the website to look at my...
The 2-door is rated at 3,500 pounds, versus the 2,000 pounds on the Wrangler 2-door, so that counts as good towing capacity for me. Small crossovers tend to be rated for 1,000-2,000 pounds so it's good for the kind of vehicle it is. Gives it enough to haul a camper trailer, trailer with dirt...
