How is the ride quality been for you? I have the same size tires on Black Diamond steelies and haven't done anything with the suspension yet.
Edit: Read above that it's just a touch stiffer. I think I'm going to jump on this. I was worried the 285/75/17's would look a touch small with 2 inches...
I haven't finalized that decision yet. I will see how much clearance I have after the 1" Level.
Currently zero rub at full lock with stock suspension and the 34" tires.
They sure do. No rubbing at all. I've put over 2k miles on the bronco and really like these tires.
I haven't taken the bronco on any "real" off road trails yet. I bet they would rub fully stuffed. Rear crash bars are super simple to remove. I will need to remove the bumper to remove the front...
I wish I would have done more research on this. I got the Ford Visor and it doesn't cover enough of the windshield.
The Cover craft looks good and they even have a tan Carhart visor which I will be purchasing sooner than later.
Ales and Overlands is back at Steady Hand Brewing Co. in Atlanta on Saturday, 5/21!

Now that I have my Bronco, I'll definitely be out there. If the weather is good, I'll have top down and doors off!
I look forward to meeting some of you.
I think engineering and building them is the ONE thing they got right.
It's been an absolute joy to drive. I just filled up the tank for the first time. $66 for 93 octane.
I definitely felt the slight increase in performance with the premium fuel.
I know many of you are ready to jump to new...
Amazing story! Thank you for sharing that.
I also met my wife "on the job". Not nearly as important of a job as yours, but still a public service. I'm a career bartender/bar owner. 🍻
The Nitto's ride great so far. They seem a bit softer than the stock grabbers, but time will tell as I've only put about 100 miles on them. I'm definitely happy with the upgrade.
My MPG will certainly be worse, but I didn't get a Bronco for good gas mileage.
285/75/17 (33.8 x 11.2) No lift. No rubbing whatsoever at full lock forward and reverse. Still have crash bars in tact. Will take them off before I go on any trails.
So far, I've seemed to escape with no physical or mechanical defects.
Put new tires on the stock steelies. 34's fit perfectly without any modification to stock suspension. No rubbing whatsoever on crash bars at full lock.
They fill the wheel well nicely in my opinion and I gained an extra inch...
