No one can say for certain but if you are a 4-door soft-top 2.3L you might get one for Christmas but I wouldn't count on it. If you have a hard top by choice (4 door) or requirement (2 door), you've got quite a wait ahead of you.

Go for it! I'm doing similar with area 51. With the broad stripe, keep the pin stripe. If you go thinner, lose it.

If it's easy like my truck, I'll do it myself. Easy to get to the plug, filter, etc. Takes 15 min no problem. My daughter's car is a total oil covered pain in the ass so I pay someone else. There is something I enjoy about doing it myself but you're right in that you don't save much, if at all.

You're absolutely right. These dark metallic paints only look good with metallic painted tops. I really wish they would have though about that and saved this color for '23 (or whenever they get their roof shit together) and given more colors that actually match the MIC trimmings.

Ford's problem is that they didn't inform the designers that the only top is the MIC. These dark metallics would look quite nice with a painted top. With the mic though, you have to embrace the retro lighter matte colors. Otherwise it just end up looking like some beamer with junkyard parts...

Me personally, I'd go without the hood decal but thats just personal preference. I think that looks pretty darn good. (y)
