Customer orders often make it to the dealers website. I get calls on chassis cabs and other vehicles on our website that are customer orders and not for sale.
The lack of communication from the dealer is the issue. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt if they were busy. I can see it sitting if they got a bunch of stuff in or the salesman you’re working with is extremely busy. I’ve been there but I at least let them know it will be a few days...
Its considered a new vehicle because it hasn’t been registered. The warranty will start when the vehicle is delivered to the customer. There’s a ton of vehicles sold with 2,000 to over 5,000 miles sold as new.
I haven’t fully committed to anything but this will be tough to give up. I would miss the power and sounds silly, the power seat! I have bad Stenosis and fiddle with my seat a lot depending how I feel. I wish they would offer it in a lower package like in the Bronco Sport.
Dealerships that do this give the good ones a bad name. You will make more in the long run if you treat customers fairly. Word of mouth is huge and you will get plenty of business by doing the right thing. The 1 and done dealers don’t last long.
I drove our Mannequin Wildtrak yesterday and the SAS is so smooth. I could not believe how well it handled the city in comparison to a Wrangler. Just rock solid and tight with no feeling of a lumber wagon. I agree it will look great on 33’s and much cheaper. I don’t know if I’d do a spacer...
Bronco is not exclusive to delays. It’s all models across all manufacturers. I tell customers we hope to have a VIN in 6 months or so but it may be a year or longer for a vehicle. It is what it is at this point.
I was sitting in our GM's Cyber Orange Wildtrak 4 door. It just didn't seem as comfortable for my 350 lb. ass. Good news is if I ordered 1 now I have 2-3 years to lose weight!
1st new vehicle? All vehicles new and used have imperfections, some worse than others. I doubt anyone is going to get a perfect top because plastic has scratches and imperfections…just how it is. I’m with you on swelling, moisture issues, etc. but you won’t get a perfect top.
It’s so tough to stay positive when only about 30 of my 80 plus orders are scheduled and they have been in there a long time. It’s going to be hell come Fall and I have no VIN for customers for their write off. My day consists of emails and calls from unhappy customers. Even last year wasn’t...
Great looking rig! I'm starting to prefer the look without the Sasquatch package. Advantage to me is I think I could get by without boards to help the wife get in. Also, I'd probably do the 2.3 with the upgrade elocker vs the 2.7 with the Sasquatch.
Good news is used car values are through the roof and you may get a lot more than the car is worth. Had a coworkers daughter total her Fusion with a year left on her lease and she was able to pay off the lease and get a $6,000 check.
Ford does not even know. I had 5 21 MY Superdutys in the order bank well in advance, placed in October-December and in March Ford asked me to re-submit them as 22 MY. I don’t have a VIN or build date for any of these…
