  1. Article: Bronco reservations could be delayed for years.

Seriously? Grainger is offering Wranglers and Gladiators below MSRP. No dealer constraints on factory orders from Jeep. About 90 days to get a Wrangler and about 120 for a Gladiator....somehow they are managing to build enough to meet demand... Right now the Bronco is the greatest gift to Jeep...
  2. Granger Ford -2022 Bronco Allocation - No one said it was going to be easy

Was just perusing Levine's twitter feed and he's not only still pushing the 'then switch to a dealer with more allocation' bullshit, but is posting that dealer allocation has always been a factor in when reservation holders would get their Bronco's Though in the section about 'Reservation...
  3. Granger Ford -2022 Bronco Allocation - No one said it was going to be easy

Maybe get Tommy and the guys @TFLtruck to voice in on this on youtube. Once it's out there it just might get some traction in other automotive press.
  4. Granger Ford -2022 Bronco Allocation - No one said it was going to be easy

That's a pipe dream under the new allocation restrictions. Straight from Granger's estimates: Meanwhile, ordering a Jeep is allowed regardless of the dealers allocation... This is Ford screwing the small dealers and the reservation holders that chose them... ...and giving Jeep a good chance...
  5. Granger Ford -2022 Bronco Allocation - No one said it was going to be easy

They've had both Grainger Ford & Grainger Motors since 1987...it's a bit late in the game for Ford to make a kick about that now. If a customer can't find/receive what they want at one, why wouldn't they refer you to their other business? I'm sure they send people both ways - it's called...
  6. Granger Ford -2022 Bronco Allocation - No one said it was going to be easy

Hey boys! I promise to show you a great time! Serious cudo's to Granger for being straight forward with this info. I've no dog in this hunt as I never buy a 1st year platform - though they may release the 7g platform before they get all the 6g res holders their Bronco's. Shame on Ford for...
  7. 🛠 10/18/21 Build Week Group

I have a 2 door sport s and feel exactly the same way. It's a vehicle you actually drive as opposed to ride in. Yes, it requires a little more attention -nothing like some would have you believe, I run 75 one handed every day - but it makes you feel connected to it. After a year, I still smile...
  8. Hand out Sasquatches instead of ducks? (part 2, the conclusion)

There's actually some fairly salty push back within the Jeep community as well. https://www.jlwranglerforums.com/forum/threads/jeep-ducking-duck-duck-jeep.55215/ Some of the same 'don't touch my stuff' reactions, as well as some..., uh..., creative extrapolations ..., over the damage a small...
  9. My Bronco arrived at the dealership.... but delivery hold due to airbag recall

It's the non-specificity of when it will actually be remedied that has to be the most frustrating.... don't pass go - don't collect $200 .....until sometime before the end of the year - whenever we have a repair procedure and the parts to perform it...
  10. Will you be taking your Bronco off road?

There's something special about a dog that loves to go wheeling with you! River hopes he'll see you'all on the trail someday....
  11. 2021 Bronco snaps both tie rods valiantly on extreme obstacle (Queens Throne obstacle on K2 trail)

My vote for 'best common sense advice guys let testosterone overide' My Jeep is my DD and sometimes work truck. It's lightly modded (Rubi suspension, disconnects, winch, on board air & 33's) and taken wheeling regularly. I am always aware of both my, and its, limitations. If I spend more than...
  12. 2021 Bronco snaps both tie rods valiantly on extreme obstacle (Queens Throne obstacle on K2 trail)

How to properly rock crawl @ 'Queens Throne'... I'm the first to call out design issues - the front shock mount bolts hanging down still bug the shit out of me - but this was a combo of oversized tires without the proper accompanying suspension mods and using overly aggressive driving to slam...
  13. 2021 Bronco snaps both tie rods valiantly on extreme obstacle (Queens Throne obstacle on K2 trail)

The tie rod on the JL is pretty beefy even in stock form. That isn't to say it can't be broken - though you are more likely to simply bend it. Shoot we have a trail out here called 'Tie Rod Canyon' - so named because someone once broke a tie rod on the trail and dug it in to the ground as a...
  14. 2021 Bronco snaps both tie rods valiantly on extreme obstacle (Queens Throne obstacle on K2 trail)

Watched it at normal speed and it looks like when the left wheel slipped off the rock and shot him to the right, it pinned the right wheel against a rock, forcing it in and snapping the tie rod. Not sure why the driver's side broke as well. Maybe the kick back snapped both simultaneously...
  15. 2021 Bronco snaps both tie rods valiantly on extreme obstacle (Queens Throne obstacle on K2 trail)

Here's the video from his tiktok page... He just rammed it in there and away they went...
  16. [Updated With Outcome in Part 2 Video] Dealer marks up former employee's Bronco by $10k

This First and foremost, if you pay over MSRP your being foolish. Yes, I get it. You've been waiting desperately for a vehicle you're dying to recieve and at this point, are willing to go to great lengths to get it - And if you don't pay the ADM, it'll just go to someone else who will. Let it...
  17. Learned that Jeep hate is real

Indeed! Would you ever let someone who could make that decision spot for you in a tight spot? God only knows what side of your rig you'd end up on...
  18. Importance of Lockers

I hadn't seen that vid when I posted my original comment. Color me surprised. I assumed (we all know what that means) the Bronco would have a 'BLD' system comparable to the 4Runner and Wrangler. That should have been an easy hill without lockers - as shown by the 4Runners performance. It's a...
  19. Importance of Lockers

I'm going controversial here 😱 Lockers as a piece of equipment are fantastic. The actual need for them is way overrated. One of the the best examples of this statement out there: This is a stone stock 2012 Wrangler Sport with open diff's.... ...and another thing to consider, locked...
