I had to google this, but usually manual transmissions are rated at a lower tow capacity because towing large loads can cause damage to the clutch. Doesn’t mean you can’t get the tow package though.
I think that has to do with trim level. Like if you go from the base to big bend you get power seats, locks, and windows. Similar to the Jeep sport to sport S.
Im pretty sure it has to do with the paint shop on the assembly line. If you order a body colored top then it will be painted with the vehicle. I believe the paint shop will have to go out of its way to paint a white top.
im think this will be for the outer banks trim. It would make sense because I’m assuming the trim level is targeted to the coastal folks. I’m just hoping the tow capability comes with locking differentials.
I’m loving the tow capacity package. Also, a little confused on the badlands vs outer banks. It said outer banks and then badlands in the beginning of the code and then flipped towards the end. So, which one is the lower trim?
