As said before they are both great, If you are upgrading your pockets will be empty both ways I love my non sas badlands but I lifted and put 37's on right away and personally I like the 4.46 gears I have no issues on the highway or around town.

A badlands non sas does not take alot of work nor investment to sucessfully equip over a SAS I run 37's with -12 offset and a 3.5" zone lift I have no rubbing anywhere yes you should upgrade the tie rods but you have to do that on a SAS also I go down the highway at 70 in rolling hills in...

Yep for any model but a badlands I would look at the squatch but badlands has all but the 35's and flares plus bash plates and swaybar disconnect

I get it you have to weigh out what works for you I use to build insurance vehicles so entire rebuilds. Do all my own metal work and painting so I didn't need SAS it literally gained me nothing but that is not for everybody

If you like the squatch stock wheels and don't plan on changing them and want 4.70 gearing then it is probably worth it I never planned on using stock wheels simply don't like any stock wheels anybody offers except maybe TRD beadlocks and 4.46 gears is more than enough even with 37" F-rated tires
