Interesting, I have owned many jeeps last two Rubicon Gladiators. Power is definitely lacking compared to the 2.7 and the interior is smaller, However for me The interior is by far more finished than the plastic tempo interior of the Bronco and the stereo in my Rubicon was so much better than...
Mine must be very touchy I can not stand outside my vehicle and start my vehicle with my keys in my pocket I lean in push the brakes with my hand and hit the push button no key detected I put the keys on my seat and then it starts
As said before they are both great, If you are upgrading your pockets will be empty both ways I love my non sas badlands but I lifted and put 37's on right away and personally I like the 4.46 gears I have no issues on the highway or around town.
Prep Vet I was just in your neighborhood or back in mine depending on how you look at it lol. You could always stop in windrock ORV park I heard it has really nice trails. Sorry to hear about possibly getting rid of the Bronco
So I just did a mileage test on my non sas BL with f-rated 37's and the lie -o-meter said 18.7 both ways on a highway trip one way was 115 miles so I was really happy with that then I filled up with gas and only took 5.46 gals at 115 miles so 20.9 mpg. Then I was saddened to find out that my...
That is true rack is much more expensive to replace I am running stock right now but I ordered the rack bushings and then at that time will upgrade the tie rods
A badlands non sas does not take alot of work nor investment to sucessfully equip over a SAS I run 37's with -12 offset and a 3.5" zone lift I have no rubbing anywhere yes you should upgrade the tie rods but you have to do that on a SAS also I go down the highway at 70 in rolling hills in...
I get it you have to weigh out what works for you I use to build insurance vehicles so entire rebuilds. Do all my own metal work and painting so I didn't need SAS it literally gained me nothing but that is not for everybody
I do realize this my point was more towards you can have disgruntled techs no matter where, if you are having work done pay attention dont trust until you have established a repore. The manufacturer believe it or not does not necessarily have the best techs,
I am confident with my setup everything works together as it should and do you believe that Ford never has a disgruntled employee, I also payed high labor costs to have this thing built to begin with probably by some non high school graduate button pusher wearing a ford jump suit. I do all my...
If you like the squatch stock wheels and don't plan on changing them and want 4.70 gearing then it is probably worth it I never planned on using stock wheels simply don't like any stock wheels anybody offers except maybe TRD beadlocks and 4.46 gears is more than enough even with 37" F-rated tires
I just have to laugh there is a very similar thread on gladiator forum because people must need a hobby so they knit pick uncoated metal and expect it to be rust free
