I think "Right to repair" is at the heart of this debate. Do we own the vehicle or not? If we own it, we should be able to do whatever we please, at risk of voiding warranty of course. It's essentially the same thing as jailbreaking an iPhone.
If I decided to swap my '21 drivetrain into...
Airing down is the secret. It's also significantly safer in icy conditions.
I've been running 8psi on the Goodyears. With the 2 ply sidewalls, they should be good to low single digits. I'm still building confidence in this tire/wheel combo, but all indications are good. You do need to adjust...
With priority 99, there is zero chance of getting built.
If they change it to a buildable priority, you at least have a chance, albeit low, of getting pulled. Constraints don't mean zero getting built, just some percentage less than 100. Item, region, dealer, all seem to factor in.
I'm loving the Goodyears. I like the sassy wheels too. 🤷🏻♂️
I feel like now that I have a few thousand miles, the Goodyears aren't picking up the rocks as bad.
My dealer offered me 10k to walk. As long as they aren't stealing reservations, it's all good. They can't get enough new vehicles in, so they need to make money flipping. I don't like it, but I understand.
Dang, tough crowd today.
I made that video specifically for you SOB's and shared it here a couple weeks ago. Yes the EB runs. Yes the 21 lives outside. Yes, it is my first frameless window vehicle. No, I don't think warming it up for 30+ minutes is reasonable. Yes, I did remote start it. Yes, I...
These suckers are little fatties. Quite a bit heavier than my EB with V8, NP435, Dana 20, Dana 44, Dana 60, steel bumpers, steel body, steel wheels, etc. Not sure where the '21 is keeping all its weight.
