Interesting. Dealers giving their customers a break on the price of a vehicle are "gaming the system". The discount dealers haven't hurt me one bit by giving me the option of a lower price.

I still don't get the unscrewing of the oil cap. I probably looked at a thousand engines from friends, neighbors, relatives, and strangers and not once did I feel the need to unscrew an oil cap unless I was going to add oil. Just plain weird.

When my wife drives my F-150, I lose 2 mpg. Same truck, same roads. I'm seeing a pattern.:unsure:

True, but I'm just one of those folks who likes a little deeper gear. Our Outer Banks was ordered with the 4.27's (plus who doesn't like a locker);) just to run the 33's. Plus I like to keep that automatic transmission happy!🙂

IMO, going up an inch or two you can feel it but no need to re-gear. Anything more than that I would re-gear.
