It's in the APIM module. It can be enabled plain text. As I've mentioned before, it is Hit or Miss with vehicles. Meaning you can enable it, it may not work and just given error message. It is not an option enabled typically, and as I've mentioned and as you seen, it is not an option enabled...

The brake controller (Ford/Redarc) do not really interface with the vehicle (ie talks sync). It's only there to provide a separate variable/ settable controls to the trailer brakes. There is no additional programing for or assorted with it.

Hardware is/ looks identical the same. The firmware software is clearly different.

Form factor may be similar, but the guts may totally different. As well as the pin out for the outputs. May not be the same. If you opened up the plastic white clamshell casing, does it have a relay inside?

That is all that is enabled by FDRS as well. You can enable other functions, those may work. Not no guarantees, but that is all what you'll get from the factory.
