Why not make a club/group that interested members could join to keep up to date with the details? That way we don't have to give out emails. Just a thought.
I voted for Chrome, but would also take satin black if that is the only one produced. Great idea!
Toyota includes direct and indirect employees in their numbers.
According to Cars.com, the “Big Three” employs far more Americans than any other automaker in the U.S. does. However, Toyota is still a massive employer of Americans as about 30,000 Americans are employed by Toyota. This puts...
"So for those who need to get off-road right now, we're offering priority access to our complimentary off-road driving experience, the Bronco Off-Roadeo."
The bone they throw us is priority Off-Roadeo access. How will that work? I'm registered, but wonder if they will contact me about it?
I still hope that they will boldly offer the first manual hybrid when they electrify the Bronco. It could be paired with the 2.3, get a boost of power and torque, improve mileage, and bring in a bunch of safety/convenience features that normally are only on Autos. Getrag specifically states...
My Bronco will be my first Ford ever and B6G is the first forum I've found that is worth participating in. Tons of great info and fun people who (mostly) know their shit. Thanks to everyone who makes this work day after day.
1. Fog and ditch lights wired to the Aux switches.
2. ABS belly skid plate to drop some weight
3. low profile winch mount or new winch bumper (skinny!)
4. replacement quarter panels with EB squared off fender and no flares
5. New wheels with an offset that tucks the tires in more and still...
These look fabulous - great work!
I want to see different quarter panels with squared off fenders and no flares like this (at least the front quarter panel, the rear would match the front). Then I would get to work figuring out how to tuck the wheels in a bit more to complete the look.
I was thinking the same thing but I would pick Starbucks or other coffee and food chain. In Europe the rest areas almost always have food - baked goods, fresh grilled sandwiches, etc. and excellent coffee available. You can’t help but stop and go in for a quick snack. Easily spend 30 minutes...
There is some great info here- thanks!
My problem with this argument is the “we’re not there yet”. May be true but that has never stopped Americans before. I don’t think you wait until everything is perfect before you innovate. The growth of renewables has been amazing in just the last 10...
Texas also couldn’t use coal because they don’t buy winterized coal (it’s a thing) . Main problem is they have a grid designed to make money for corporate interests- not a grid regulated for the interests of the citizens of TX
Think about the nature of the product- a hard top that is removable. Exactly 2 vehicles in the US use this. If this were a problem with the modular bumper, Ford could go to a crazy number of different suppliers to get it made. There just are no good options for this part.
There is availability of 2 door tops, just not enough to cover demand. The last real numbers we got out of MAP showed about thirty percent of the Broncos built each day have been 2door. For the 4 doors- out of roughly 70 built each day, 40 are hard top and 30 are soft. According to demand...
