100% agree. I drive a 2018 M4 with BMW’s full Merino Leather option. It’s got 27k miles on it and the leather is soooooo much nicer than even brand new leather in my 2019 F-250 Lariat (not platinum). Ford Lariat leather is garbage.
Two more! If you zoom in it’s easy to tell the difference.
MGV - there’s actually a subtle pattern to it up close.
Leather - the leather has a pebble grain to it
Here’s why I am likely to pick BL over WT (despite preferring the black beauty rings).
Some love to say, “But the WT has hard top, Sasquatch, and 2.7L standard!” Not so fast. Nothing is “free” as those upgrades are built into the higher base price of the WT.
Take a look below... when you...
Every time I read how folks are choosing WT because they don’t like the aluminum (not chrome) beauty rings on the Sasquatch wheels I have to chuckle...
Y’all do realize you can remove those rings, take them down to your local powder coat shop, and make them black (or any other color under the...
I also love Carbonized Gray, but not sure about it on Badlands due to gray grill. I prefer all Broncos with a grill that pops!
I think the Carbonized Gray would look sick on the Wildtrack because the black painted grill, mirrors, and wheels would provide that subtle contrast. Now imagine that...
You can spec any of these Broncos to resemble each other. The question is how much effort and $ are you willing to spend to do it. Why buy a Wildtrack just to spend all that $ and time making it look like the Badlands I could have just bought from the beginning?
And you’re forgetting... the one...
I can’t speak for others, but for me the reasons are:
1) I prefer the interior options on the Badlands.
2) I prefer the gray grill and mirror caps on the Badlands as I think it matches better with the MIC top
3) I prefer the steel bumper and rock rails that are standard on the Badlands
I absolutely want 35’s on my Badlands. But I’m not sold on that Goodyear Territory. The more I look at it, the more I think “meh.”
I’m actually sitting at Discount Tire as I write this... having a new set of Nitto Ridge Grapplers (35x12.5R18) installed on my JKUR (pic below). I’ve been running...
OMG! You’re right! I feel so stupid.
Well at least it gives us a bit of a hint how good the Sasquatch beauty rings will look after we powder coat them!
Anybody see the wheels on the new Bronco Nation video about soft too removal? It’s a BL in A51 with Sasquatch.
Look at the beauty rings. They are much darker (Carbonized Gray?) and match the BL grill perfectly.
This was the real low point of the Q&A. They basically said, “we whiffed on this, and we have no plans to fix it”
End results is they just lost my $2500 accessory add. It’s too bad too cuz I was one of those people who probably don’t need a winch but have always wanted one and was planning to...
Totally agree...
I’m going BL + Sasquatch. For the wheels I will either:
1) powder coat the ring gray to match the BL grill and MIC top, or
2) powder coat the wheel itself gray and the ring black, or
3) sell the Sasquatch wheels as take offs and buy one of these (flame suit on)...
my understanding on BL wheels size is as follows:
Stock : 17x8
$995 Upgrade: 17x8
Sasquatch: 17x8.5
So if you want wider wheels you either need to go Sasquatch or aftermarket.
I keep reading about folks picking the the optional BL wheel because they like the carbonized gray beauty ring... some avoiding Sasquatch pkg altogether over the color at the ring!
Seems a lot easier to just get the Sasquatch package and just have those rings powder coated to any color you...
