The thing that gets me in all that Ford "Double talk" is this line:
...…..."and what we’ve promised to customers that are really chomping at the bit to place their orders early next year".
Wrong, WRONG SIR/madam/whoever the hell you are....we are chomping at the bit to place our orders on...
I was absolutely going to Sasquatch my Badlands UNTIL I saw these pictures. Now I'm not sure. The rig with the 33" tires give the appearance that the truck has a lift kit and the Sasquatched rig looks like someone stuffed tires that are too big for the wheel wells onto it.
I honest to God did...
Tell her to kindly not cloud the issue with facts and bring up that if there ever is a Zombie apocalypse, you’ll damned sure wish you had a sway bar disconnect when your slogging over a mountain of freshly mowed down flesh eaters.
...and then go order the damned Badlands!!!!
That’s My defense...
I definitely think this would look better with rock rails. I just don’t think the 4 doors look good with running boards.
oh man that Area 51 color is a cruel temptress. Sometimes I think it looks awesome, then another picture it looks powder puff blue. I like it, I hate it, I love it, I loathe...
The 1-800-334-4375 number (select Option 1 and then Option 3) referenced above is the number I called when I transferred my Reservation to Leonardtown Ford last week.
I wish one of the switches could be wired to lockout the climate control system on the passenger side to either SUPER hot in the summer of SUPER cold in the winter. I would flip it whenever some putz in the passenger seat says “Geez, those 35” tires are really loud” or “how much did you pay for...
When I first saw that image, I thought that it should have a guy standing behind the horse image with the horses back feet aiming for his groin. I think we all feel the X-Plan thing was a kick in the jewels.
I would like to have been a fly on the wall at these Corporate meetings that decided all these things....
Ford Exec: "Ok, admittedly this Bronco roll-out has been rocky. We need to know the issues and solutions. Smithers, you follow these forums, what say you"?
Smithers: "Well Sir, a lot of...
I’m just curious how long Ford knew about the X-plan not being available. I mean, we keep hearing that “Ford is listening”. I would say this is a case of very selective listening.
Other than a manual transition on the Sasquatch package, what have they listened to? The X-plan pricing topic has...
I don't understand why folks with confirmed reservations can't give them a quick test drive? There's 3 of those trucks there. Hell, I'd be happy just rolling once around the parking lot just to be able to say..."Yeah, I drove one before I ordered it".
How about this concession Ford.....Can we...
The window sticker on mine when it shows up to the dealer better say a Hell of a lot more than NOT FOR SALE!! It better also say...NOT FOR TEST DRIVING....NOT FOR SITTING IN....NOT FOR KIDS TO GET THEIR STICKY FINGERS ALL OVER WHILE PARENTS WALK AROUND IT.
In fact, it should also say...BACK...
I agree!!! This looks like the winning entry in the "ugliest/afterthought vent design" contest. Forget water, the Pepperidge farm Goldfish that my son will load those holes up with is the real problem (to say nothing of McDonald's Fries and various coins and dog biscuits). Hopefully there will...
I have to admit that sometimes it feels like Ford is revealing the Bronco's final interior version to us, one tiny detail at a time. Like a farmer feeds scraps to the family rooster. Today it's contrasting thread color scheme. Tomorrow it might be, dare I say it.....the windshield wiper...
the cynical future Bronco owner tells me that there are a bunch of "Rock Stars" working on the B&P tool, sitting around now and saying..."Great!!! 37" tires as an option now??? This will add weeks to the B&P build out. Call Levine and break the bad news so he can clearcoat some more gas cans...
I would have to agree with the above posts. Having lived in Northern Virginia for almost 20 years now, it has been my experience that getting a car dealerships around here to negotiate ANY price reduction off MSRP is like trying to deal with a vindictive ex wife. The pandemic changed the game...
I got the survey. Reservation for a 4 door Badlands.
Was a bitter sweet experience...kind of like going to a restaurant and realizing how expensive the place is...you start deciding if you want the steak after all or is a burger just as good. But if you get the steak, do you really want...
Evening all,
I got the survey (it went to junk mail but these days I read the junk as much as the inbox because of this type thing). As I clicked through the option packages, I was looking at them as stand alone options. I would assume the Sasquatch comes with auto trans for example because it...
