Another upvote for pakmule! I think it's the best and least janky. I use it as a bike rack + cargo storage when I am traveling somewhere like Moab. I also use it for hunting now that I don't have a truck. Fits a cooler for elk and can handle the weight! Now the Bronco suspension on the other...
Depending on the shop, I have heard that some of the shops have not gotten the technical bulletin that these aren't beadlocks. I don't have them yet, but there shouldn't be anything different besides torquing the bolts to the correct value. I could see pulling a bead to the outside of the wheel...
I have a non-sas Badlands. I want to get a rebound pro. Can the +25mm wheel accommodate 37s? I will use 35s until I get a lift, but it would be great if I didn't have to repurchase wheels in the future for 37s.
Wow, I don't understand how you all get such good gas mileage. I just did Boulder to independence pass last weekend and averaged like 15 mpg... I don't have the lead foot that some of yall do, but how on earth is pulling a trailer more efficient than me driving without one? Crazy.
2D Badlands...
I should mention that I live in Bozeman, MT which is definitely...special...when it comes to expensive things.
Edit: Montana has no sales tax either. Registration for a new car is ~$500 though.
Hello,
I bought a bronco while waiting for 2+ years for my ordered one to be produced. My order is finally scheduled for production, but I think I am going to keep my current Bronco and not the ordered one.
However, my dealer is the worst and I do NOT want to let them tack on ADM. I figured I...
Out of my ideal 4x4, I wanted 35in tires, a front locker, an AWD mode, and for it to not be a Jeep. The only other options that checked these boxes were trucks. The 2Dr option of the Bronco was a major selling point for me. I wish the bronco DIDN'T come with a removable roof. I don't take the...
The Hoss 3.0 is better for faster movement as the fox shocks are aluminum body instead of steel (higher cooling rates) and have 5 position sensitive valves instead of the bilstein’s 3 positions. Both are easily out performed by most other remote reservoir coilover setups. If you plan on running...
My bronco always is super jerky with the downshifting no matter what mode. Like when I am coming to a stoplight I sometimes have to compensate for the car lurching forward due to a downshift with stepping on the brakes more. Very smooth when upshifting though. Is this the same that others...
I have the Morrflate compressor and tubes and it is extremely fast to air up and down. Not as useful if you need to run other things on the air. It's significantly cheaper than the ARB and can do all 4 tires at once. They actually advise against airing up one tire at a time. I assume due to the...
I used this on a recent trip to Moab: https://pakmule.com/product/pakmule-scout/
I took it off once I settled into a campsite and then was able to offroad without it. I DID have a swing arm too that allowed for me to access the back with the Pakmule on. I took that off too once in camp. The...
This is 2023. We shouldn’t have to hope and pray for our vehicles to come the way we expect them. I could train a neural net with a camera to catch exterior inconsistencies like this. Toyota seems to have it pretty dialed relative to US brands. They really need to get it together for the...
Nobody is going to make a decision based on what an internet stranger says, but you don’t think it might be a *teensy* bit helpful to source other points of view?
I don’t care who makes it, but I’ll be the first in line for a 2D (suicide doors like FJ would be neat) that has a front and rear locker and IFS suspension. That’s it. Currently the Bronco is the only contender. I don’t need the removable roof so if Toyota or Chevy came up with something like...
