Yes, winch delivered, looks authentic
Winch was dropped during shipping (UPS) and, despite being in well padded carton, cracked costmetic motor cover- I removed it because it's not technically needed and makes the winch smaller when it's removed
That said, still haven't installed nor opened...
Good question
Lots on b6g about this...which will lead others to say "jeez, how rude, do some research, the answers are already on here, wah wah wah" which usually means they don't really know that for a fact, they've just seen the chatter
Not affiliated with jks, but from their product notes...
For the money, if you care about full articulation with no rub, and assuming you get some minor increase in lift with 6100s over stock SAS, I'd skip spacers and UCAs and instead opt for JKS max tire kit
Doing JKS kit myself here soon. Just picked up the KO2 load Cs last weekend
Seems like you already have a good idea; no other major differences. The SAS bilsteins give a purported mild lift over badlands bilsteins but there's been research that it comes at cost of articulation
SAS tire contact patch gives arguably better 'float' on sand, but I'd say that's marginal...
So after discovering the steal that were the 37" bfg load C for $350/ea, I decided to take the plunge.
Also ordered motegi trailites- by my calculations, total weight will be a hair LESS than stock 35" SAS (although load of more rubber further from centerline will still have some impact on...
Just making sure I understand their statement '...every bronco currently comes with "hoss 2.0"...' this would be true for 2022 SAS big bend?
Really didn't think I would go to 37s but that price would make it alot more accessible...
All I know is I don't have catches and changed my own oil at approx 7k interval recently (for youtube undergrads, it was before cluster nanny suggested) and it was basically pitch black with very little translucency. However I didn't check it once before I added engine flush (liqui moly) so that...
*dont think "Sold in Units of Each (1)" is right
190lbs package weight for SAS offset model. Seems heavier than the stock SAS. I really like both looks but expensive upgrade for looks-only/possible increase in rotating weight...
The plate behind the front skid is the one for access but it's mounted 'above' both plates to either end of it. Tried loosening either side but because of the way the access plate sort of hooks under one and is fully thru-bolted to the other, it doesn't really work.
I have the ronin plug, think...
It's a great set otherwise, extremely well made with multiple layers and bracing and otherwise well-thought-out. If nothing else ill probably cut access and secure patch panel with flathead screws
Edited title to broaden search to non-diy'rs...dealer service, jiffy lube, etc would probably be...
Was loving the ARB skid set (esp for the price) until I went to change oil- had to pull 3 of 4 panels to get to the plug- did I miss something? @Ryan at ARB
Second this, just picked up molygen, lots of data suggesting legitimately worth the extra $ (popcorn eaters just keep eating). And ronin oil plug conversion
