I alluded to this in post #79 (pages ago). When you go to the SEMA build page and look at chassis it says, "4WP 2” adjustable Performance Suspension (2.5 Forged Performance Series front and rear coilover shocks / Performance Series upper control arms)". I'm not sure that is factory...
I know some of you may be too young to remember, but the U.S. proposed adopting the metric system back the the late 70's. It obviously failed to happen.
Yep, that was my question too.... And I wasn't clear on his response of if the SEMA build had an extra lift above Badlands and Squatch? It appeared really high. And the parts link they shared stated the vehicle had a "4WP 2" adjustable Performance suspension". That doesn't sound stock.
My winch question got answered. You either get the winch with an obstructed view or don't get it. There is no workaround. Other than trying to relocate the winch motor, but I don't think that will work either. It would be a $2500 gamble.
There are other options for Florida residents.... just a shame there's not a bucking bronco.
Although the off-road plate isn't bad and supports a good cause.
So watched the whole thing... Great representation for the Bronco Sport, Mach-E, and F150. Not so much extra love for the big Bronco. I was expecting a little more. Maybe tomorrows Q&A at the Ford Horizon event will be better. Still a bunch of unanswered questions....
Maybe that's why nobody cares. Wheels are wheels... they can easily be replaced and off-set can be determined. We are mostly concerned with interior design and why the hell Ford didn't think through the 360 camera with a winch. That is something you can take back...
So I really wonder what "late availability" is? I mean, haven't we seen the shadow black tops already on pre-production models? That tells me they are available, but not as many as originally planned... I may choose to wait on delivery of my FE. It will likely be delayed a month or two?
That was my point, nobody will ever be totally happy. But we can offer our opinions to the right people and hopefully they listen..... But in the meantime, we either take it as is or don't.
Positive post! It's a post about believing that whatever Ford was thinking, they will adjust in the future based on our (customer) opinion. I had a 77, red, 2-door soft top, w/white interior and flares. Loved it and miss it.
Not really sure where I should post this thread, but.... As much as I might be upset with my Ford Bronco First Edition options… (or any other model), the bottom line is Ford came back with an icon. It is the old gen Bronco reborn! I imagine there are going to be issues, whether it’s color...
I live in Florida and will be adding it for when I drive up to cold locations. And just as everyone else said, the price alone is worth it. Besides, it's only one of four options I can add on a FE to max it out.
