I prefer the built in maps too. Usually because any of the map apps (google, Waze, etc) drain my phone battery pretty fast, and I’ve been known to forget my charger. This is one reason why I wish the wireless charging was available as a stand alone option. All the trims come with wireless Apple...
I suspect that the $695 built in navigation will give you the maps “built in” so that if you ever decide to stop paying the subscription, you will still have a working navigation. If you are only getting the “connected navigation” I would guess you will lose all navigation abilities as soon as...
I think it looks better than the bronco sports dash. Hopefully that pocket next to the screen isn’t production and is just a placeholder for a wider horizontal screen. Besides that I think it looks pretty good.
be careful with that setup, that’s a lot of heat in a small area. I have both as well and just put them behind my tv so they are out of sight but still have plenty of airflow.
They really are completely different vehicles. If you have a family, the explorer will be the much better option as it has a lot more interior room. There is 3” more of legroom in the rear seats not to mention a 3rd row and a ton more cargo space. Captains chairs in the second row also make...
This actually doesn’t look like much space. Probably fine for newborn car seats and the booster seats, but if you put a convertible car seat back there, your kids knees are going to be in their chest.
Here is the broncos. This is the screen you will probably be looking at most of the time. Depending on what mode you are in, the rectangles will be different colors. There used to be a video of it but I think it got removed.
Here is the f150s. It seems a bit easier to read to me since it mimics...
The ranger goes 0-60 between 6.1 and 6.5 seconds (depending on configuration) with the 2.3L. I’d say that’s pretty fast for a truck.
my explorer with the same engine does 0-60 in 6.8 seconds. I live next to a toll road where the speed limit is 85 mph. I’ve never had a problem entering the toll...
in my opinion Ford kinda screwed this up. Before ford revealed the bronco, pretty much all the spy shots were Sasquatch. Then ford revealed it with two concepts that were on 35’s and 37’s, to be followed by build and price that has tires that look way larger than the actual 35’s, and then even...
Are the rings on the Sasquatch wheels interchangeable? I like the looks of the all black wildtrak wheels much better. Hoping it’s a simple swap of the ring.
I think they are actually one of the better wheels. The only ones I like more are the Sasquatch wheels or the optional badlands wheels. The stock wheels on all the trims are much worse in my opinion.
All the interior dimensions are listed in ford’s website for both the bronco and the ranger. I believe the bronco has slightly more legroom than the ranger.
Ive been debating these two trims as well. I’ve basically built them to be almost identical. The only differences are that I get the signature lights on the BB and the optional wheels on the BD. Since I’m not buying right away, I’ve deciding I’m just going to wait to see them both in person. I...
