Honestly, with all the roof issues, I'm starting to be glad that I didn't reserve until two weeks in and my order is all but assured to be pushed to MY22. Gives me time for the largest downpayment possible and for roof issues to be sorted. Once the MY22 B&P goes live in a couple months I'll be...
Last I've heard, my dealer in Puyallup expected to see their mannequin mid to late July...so any day hopefully! I've been keeping an eye out for it! I've not had the chance to see any in the wild yet, but I've heard tell they are around the western Washington region.
What's left for me to worry about? I'm pretty much guaranteed to be pushed to MY22 seeing as I'm a second week reservation and ordered a 2dr basesquatch with all the cardinal sins.....in short, I already know I'm fucked. I just keep telling myself more time to save for a truly absurd downpayment.
As a hobbit myself, I fully expect to get a second Mac tirestep just for any possible under hood mucking about, let alone closing the hood with or without struts haha! I know my basesquatch is going to make me look tiny...
So basically, me going after a 2dr base squatch with the 2.7, reservation not in thr first few days...I'm completely blown out till some unknown date in '22. This breakdown is much more informative than the email, but admittedly a bit disappointing. Welp, guess I'll continue to save and drop...
As someone who's never owned a new vehicle (the newest I've ever owned was already seven years old when I bought it) and will be stepping from a 98 Tacoma to a brand new bronco...plastic whether it "feels" cheap or not is not even on my radar as a concern. Is the rig going to drive well? Is it...
17 across the board (theoretically) for 2.7 sas. Still better than what my 98 Tacoma with 262k miles gets these days...I average about 11-12 in city driving, but amazing get about 18-19 if I do nothing but hwy for a day.
Base sasquatch 2.7 2door with the modular bumper/skid plate, aux switches for me. Carbonized gray. Confirmed my order as soon as I was able and I'm sticking to it.
