I posted this in the Ranger 5G forums, but figured I'd share some of the advice they gave me about the 2.3 litre engine, since its the same as the Bronco.
Nothing Bad happened to mine, yet, but I guess because of the low positioning of the alternator, they tend to crap out if you go into deep...
tSo My build is a 2 door Badlands with optional Rims. I have 35x12.5R17 Toyo M/T tires and a 1 inch level on standby for when my truck shows up.
Now, these rims are +55 offset compared to the +35mm of the sasquatch. Realistically if I wanted to match the stance of the sasquatch, I'd need...
Guys.... I have the oportunity to lease a bronco big bend today! My badlands will be here in a month or two....
Should I lease it then put up an add for a lease take over once mine comes in?
Thoughts????
Anyone in N.B Canada want a Antimater Blue Bronco lease @msrp in 1 to two months...
Ok, so I have a Dirt Mountain Bronco, 7/13... so this isn't for me but a few buddies that want to order.
What do you guys think would be the fastest build to order from this day. And how long would it take? Would someone ordering today get a 22 or would it almost be guaranteed to be a 23...
Wouldn't that be a simpler solution? Send me Bronco and pay to have the top painted. That'll cover the cosmetics.
Will look better. I'll be happier. And would cost less.
....
So I have a manual 2 door badlands with the upgraded wheels on the way.
Just ordered 35x12.5R17 Toyo ATIII's, and the 1" Rough Country level kit.
I'll also be putting 1/4inch wheel spacers to bring the wheels out a bit.
I think it should work..... What do you guys think?

Not sure if this is known.....
But, I went into my FordPass app and scanned my Bronco barcode (on my window sticker found through the tracker) Added...
So with my Bronco coming next month (hopefully), I wanted to document everything possible with it. From mods to adventures and day to day activities. So I'm planning on starting an instagram/youtube channel... as well as posting my photos and builds here with Bronco6g.
I was going to use...
Well, seeing as my Bronco got pushed back 3 weeks, here's my ranger (actually my wife's ranger) we just built.
2021 Ranger XLT with Black Package and FX4 package.
LT285/65R18 Firestone Destination M/T2 on stock rims with 1/4inch spacers.
Rough Country 2" leveling kit.
Air Design Hood Scoop.
My build is the Badlands with optional wheels and 33"s with Manual transmission.......
Is the MID package worth it without the Command Start? Thoughts? I can do heated seats for under 200$ myself.....
Ok... here's a random thought I had. First off the reason for the thought, and the purpose of my Bronco
Purpose of my Bronco- Solo Overlanding and honestly to look cool as shit..... so going with a 2 door.
Reason for the following thought- I can't afford it (I'm getting it anyways, so this...
So I decided (for now) to go with LT285/75R17 Nitto Ridge Grapplers. Here's why.
With 34" Hight, you almost get the same look as with the 35's, but I have found them to not be as hard on gas. (I had 33's, 35's and 34's on F150's) And I found the 34's to be the best all rounder. Although I...
