What psi are you running in the new tires? Might want to try running 32-34 psi cold. This was super helpful to me when I ran D/E load tires on the Bronco.
What’s the load range on the new tires? If you went with a D or E rated tire then it will be rougher. I have also heard that the springs need a bit of time to settle.
On the driver side firewall. Same as all other broncos with factory switches. The amp rating is different on the Braptor though.
Here is a pic of the coloring/amps for the Braptor.
I have their 6.5 Rollbar enclosures and they are great. I did the same as you, I put an 8” Kicker in the OEM enclosure but could not get rid of the rattle fully so I bought a box for the cargo area. I used 2-pin waterproof connectors so I can swap back whenever I need the space.
I’ve done 3 attempts similar to the procedure you mentioned to set/bed the brakes and also I live in the High Desert where it’s dry and hot as hell. Will probably stop by the dealer in the next couple of weeks.
I was able to get $1K under MSRP on a 24 Braptor in March with zero dealer add-ons but had to drive to Jim Burke Ford in Bakersfield to scoop it up. 2hr drive to save $1K and not have to deal with the Los Angeles County dealerships was worth it.
I was in the same boat and I have had JTops for my other Bronco’s (WT, BL, and Braptor) but with my 24 Raptor I decided to try out the OEM Soft Top. I found a new OEM Ford Soft Top on Facebook Marketplace and talked them down to $600. I actually like the soft top very much and will be running in...
Understood. The dealer would likely be a non option for me since I bought this from someone who purchased dual tops and did not use it. Looking to find instructions to adjust but that latch and pin don’t seem to adjust and my only resort would be to adjust the bracket connected to the top. Just...
Ride is a bit more stiff but not super noticeable in my opinion. What I love is that it tamed down the Bronco brake dive. I felt more control with hard braking.
If you want the exact same ride quality you should look at the RC 2.5” kit. It fits HOSS 3.0
No rubbing on-road or in Moderate off-road scenarios. Never rock climbed. A couple of things to keep in mind, I’m using BFG 37’s that run a bit small. Secondly it’s a 2dr. When I did this in my 4dr I went with 3” up front. I didn’t do jks clearance kit or trim anything on either setup.
+1 it fits I just did this a few days ago. Nothing different than the standard Bronco. As others stated it has to be the OEM Ford soft top that comes with a dual top purchase or taken from a stock soft top Bronco.
Read the thread of “lessons learned when swapping to soft top” ( sorry don’t...
Also I will say this may not be the case will ALL rigs. We all know fords QC and things are built with different tolerances but “within spec” Every vehicle off the line is somewhat unique. I have owned 7 different broncos and they all have their “special” characteristics lol
