In the hardware pack, you should have received a plastic washer. The washer is only needed if the feet don't sit flat to the dash. Being Ford, there is a lot of tolerance stacking on the dash, so there can be some variance on how the feel will mate with the dash. The ideal fit is the feet touch...
The HUGE/HEAVY stainless steel round bars are cut down and being prepped for the bar feeder. We're wrapping up a run of Ti lug nuts now and shift knobs will get rolling.
They mount on your OEM rock slider. If you have the pinch weld covers, I believe you can still run the OEM rock sliders. The rock sliders already do a pretty good job if covering the pinch welds.
That's awesome! There are a lot of dash mount solutions out there these days, but, IMHO, none of them have the cool factor of our BAMs. You can mount it on your dash with nothing else and it looks like it belongs there.
Our first drop of the newly sourced Ti bars lands next week. 40' of 1" round stock and 40' of 1.25" round stock. That will make A LOT of lug nuts and lug bolts. I'll work on the math, but rough numbers is about a 23-30% reduction in cost at the customer end, depending on the size and finish.
What would you want for a WILDTRAK BAM? Different orange color with the WILDTRACK script on the center mount? All of that is easily doable. Just need to settle on the color that’s preferred.
I grabbed some shots with my phone. I had better and more pictures on the DSLR but something to do with the HDR formatting would let them transfer to my phone.
Nevertheless, the MKII BAM rails turned out awesome. The colors are spot on. The laser work looks superb. They are just all around...
I'd agree. If it were me, I'd spec a white knob with the badlands orange color fill in the shift pattern. Or same white knob with the shift pattern in raw machined with just the C in the shift pattern color filled in orange as a detail.
The knob itself is machined from a chunk of 17-4 stainless steel.
The adapter that threads into the knob and attaches to the shift arm is machined from 6061 T6 billet aluminum.
The Reverse Lever is machined from 6061 T6 billet aluminum.
There are a total of three parts in this assembly. The...
You'll need to scroll back a couple pages or so to see the knobs mocked up on our R&D shifter assembly. A white knob with red shift pattern color fill shouldn't be an issue, but please email Tracy at [email protected] to verify your request. Thanks!
These parts will get the same treatment as our wheels. If there's a specific color you want, add that info (Prismatic Powder number) to your order notes.
Good question! The design of the Bronco shifter arm with a plastic reverse lockout collar can be made more robust. My GT350 had a very similar design and I replaced the collar with a billet reverse lockout collar. There are two 'fingers' that hold onto the plastic collar in place and are also...
